“Right next to a playground so perfect for kids and theres a little beach right there. We got 2 cheeseburgers, one with onion one without, cheesefries, and a hotdog. You can tell the guy cooking really cares about making good food. Fries had the best fry to cheese ratio ive ever had in my life. Drinks were cold and cotton candy was really good, my daughter got the first one this weekend! Accepts card and cash. Don't sleep on this place. Food is worth it!”

“Came here for dinner with my family during off hours. Well we were back the next day for take our back to Long Island. Food is so delicious. The staff are funny and attentive. They have the electronic lotto machines. I won 10$. I'll be a staple come the summer. Great food, great service good vibes!!!!!”

“First time getting food here and I was not disappointed. I’ve seen them over the years while on vacation and always wanted to try them and so glad I did. We were just grabbing a quick lunch so I opted for a burrito, and chose the Burrito De Mariscos. I have to say it was one of the best, most flavorful burritos I’ve had. The blend of seafood (which was cooked perfectly) with the rice and beans and spices was delicious. And it was big enough to share or get two meals out of it. There was no chips and salsa that you get at some places with takeout, but that wasn’t an issue for me today. I’ll definitely be back to try other things.”

“What an amazing find. Went for take out before the Friday Fire Pit in Brant Beach. Our family ordered 2 “seasonal Salads” and one Asian mango salads. Wow, homemade dressing, the freshest of ingredients, and at a cost of $5. Less than anywhere on the island. We also ordered the amazing French fries and their house special grilled cheese with a slice of tomato. Yum and yum. Again at a bargain price. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. They could not do enough for us while we waited offering us water and a bench. Everyone was smiling, singing and so happy. We will definitely return tomorrow to try their breakfast and their dinner!”

“Cute little place with an assortment of food choices. The waitress Samantha was attentive and pleasant?. She recommended a taco dish that was delicious and filling. Also ordered some wings which were quite tasty as well. Clam chowder soup was had by my mom who enjoyed every last bite!”

“Lovely place to spend Easter brunch greeted warmly by all staff the place was decorated with pansies and roses and candles. Brunch for the two of us, we selected the artichoke soup with poached lobster, the asparagus galette, the lamb shepherds pie, the buckwheat crêpe with ham and egg and for dessert we topped it off with chocolate trifle and toffee carrot cake. The food was phenomenal. The service was excellent. A perfect brunch if there ever was one.”

“I LOVE HOLIDAY SNACK BAR! This place has my whole heart. I grew up going here and I never plan to stop. Food is classic, get yourself a burger and a fry and a boost slushie. True classics. “Amazing food right on the bay. We bring our boat and park in the public docks. if they are not available polly’s will let you park for a small fee. Polly’s is also good but a different vibe. nowhere near as nice.”

“Everything about this place is amazing! Delicious, fresh, healthy food, chill atmosphere, awesome staff. I've been coming here for years since being vegan and have brought many of my non-vegan friends and family members and they love it too! The owners and staff are very sweet and personable, the food and service never disappoint! My boyfriend has celiac disease so he's extremely sensitive to gluten and very cautious to trust places without a dedicated GF kitchen, but he's never had any issue eating here and the staff always takes care of us! Extremely grateful to have this place! Cannot say enough positive words.”

“Last year I stopped for ice cream and was so disappointed with my order. We had been going to Jeffreeze for over 22 years. I wrote a negative review that day and heard back from the owner Dennis offering a gift card to be left for me to allow them to correct my order. I have been back several times last year and today marked my 2nd trip for 2024. I have never picked up that gift card I feel it was just a bad day for the person at the counter back last year. Today the ice cream was outstanding as usual, the service perfect.”

“Wide selection of burgers. Of course, I get the chicken sandwich. Doesn't come with fries, they have to be ordered separately, but there is a selection to choose from like boardwalk to old bay crab fries. You order at the counter and have a seat with the number you're given. Even before I sat down, they came out with my food. Everything was tasty. Half of our party went home with milkshakes. They recommend the chocolate covered strawberry shake. Staff was great, very friendly! There is a small parking lot available on site.”

“Detroit style pizza is hard to find in New Jersey. Try this place! The dough is light and airy even though it's thick. The cheese cooked on the outside is delicious. Only open 2 days a week currently and need to call ahead for ordering but it's worth it. Great quality and unique! We tried each of the current types offered : cheese, pepperoni, and burrata. Everyone had a different favorite but all were great!”

“What a hidden gem!! Breakfast and lunch only, but quite an array of choices (4 types of Eggs Benedict to Lobster Roll, salads platters, pancakes, etc.). You will not leave hungry. Portions are plentiful. If you are having 6 or more people on a weekend or holiday,, make sure to reserve a table or you will be waiting. Also a small bar. Outdoor dining and drinks in season. This is now the new go-to place for family gatherings. Dock side service for boats, too.”

“Impressed with the quality of the fresh food. Everything in the deli case looked fresh! I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich with vodka sauce and ricotta. It was really good. The bread was excellent and the cutlet was really big. The sandwich is huge. I also got some rolls and Irish soda bread to go and a cappuccino. The Irish soda bread was excellent. The rolls were soft on the inside but the outside was a bit tough. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. They have an area outside to eat there that is enclosed and heated in the colder months.”
