“After driving past Barrel & Surf for the last 11 years, I finally stopped in and I’m glad I did. I kept seeing it all over my TikTok feed and felt compelled to check it out for myself.

We ordered a regular iced latte with almond milk and a vanilla iced latte with almond milk, and both were excellent, smooth, flavorful, and perfectly made. Between the great coffee, friendly service, and laid-back beach-town vibe, I can see why people keep talking about it. Safe to say I won’t wait another 11 years before coming back.☕”

“My wife said she though the California wrap was delicious. She has never said that before about take out food. My chicken tacos and the kids food, pizza and a hamburger was great. I thought it was a bit expensive, but not worried about that if they keep the quality as it was. Everyone ate everything. Fresh and not greasy. Good job.”

“RUN don’t walk to this unassuming but incredibly delicious gem of a restaurant. It is a no frills kinda place, prices are the same as other seafood restaurants on the island so you’re not saving money other than on the tip because it’s a order at the counter and sit down kinda spot- but the seafood is SO FRESH, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Our family had lobster rolls ( best we had on the island so far), the mussels in the garlic white wine sauce, the stuffed shrimp and the little neck clams. They ran out of the scallops in brown butter sauce but everyone there said that it’s a must have item, we will definitely get it next time! John the owner who is front of house is a little bit of a character but I found it amusing. 10/10 for food! I don’t have photos bc we devoured it all so quickly.”
