I was happy to find a plant-based eatery while out shopping. It’s an order at the counter sort of place with limited starting, take out fridge with salads, and made to order toasts, salads, smoothies, cold-press juice, bowls. I went with the recommendation of the person at the counter and got a small hummus toast and a tropical twilight smoothie. My (vegetarian) daughter opted for the wild blueberry vanilla smoothie and the vegan-ricotta honey-basil toast (warning: contains honey). She liked the smoothie but didn’t care for the toast. There is also some merchandise for sale here too.
Ice cream is good, the owner is not a nice person. Very demeaning and verbally abusive to his teenage staff. I won’t go back after hearing how he speaks to them.

AMAZING!! Great selection, customer service, and affordability. They even make their own waffle cones. Will definitely return!

I like the cinnabon flavor
They have changed owners which is why they were not open last month. They were renovating the inside. Great place to get ice cream on a hot afternoon after along day at the beach.

As a very large family we end our night at Carmellas..It is the friendliest ! She and her staff welcome us with open arms.We even get to sample the new ice cream creations.Over the years ,we just sit and relax, have our delicious treats, and are overwhelmed by the special treatment we recieve.THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER WONDERFUL WEEK. WE All appreciate you being there.

Best ice cream and coffee shop I have ever been to. The staff are friendly, the waffles are DELICIOUS, and now with the new window there are no worries about covid 19. I love it there.
