My husband John and I had the most wonderful meal at Roberto's on LBI. The food was fresh and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Thank you Robert for another fantastic meal. Can't wait to come back!!Parking: Plenty of parking this time of year, October.

This is another spot I'm surprised I haven't reviewed yet. This is one of our top two favorite dinner spots on LBI. We have to come here every time we are here! Robert is an amazing chef and host, always checking on diners and pitching in to help the servers when they're short staffed. Everything I've eaten here is fantastic. I do tend to lean toward pastas with seafood, while my husband tends to order chicken or veal dishes. These come with a side dish of pasta with marinara. We are always satisfied with our meals and always have leftovers to take home. All meals come with a small salad and bread with oil with fresh garlic included. You can always add a protein to the pasta, even if it doesn't show on the menu. It's BYOB, so bring your favorite wine and enjoy your dinner!! And leave room for dessert, they always have great choices, and have coffee and cappuccino (including decaf cappuccino!!) as well.

The ignorant jerk that runs this place needs to keep his BIG mouth shut. A 90 year old woman ( local year round LBI resident) made reservations for 3 well in advance but at very last minute one person could not attend. So owner/ jerk - ignoramous makes a public scene and threatens to charge a 90 year old woman 10 dollars because one person got sick (65 year old woman passing a kidney stone) and could not come at last minute, and 90 year old woman had the audacity..... not to call this bum and change her reservation to two. Moaned about how he is losing money because of this. Upset the 90 year old woman. We did not leave immediatly because the 90 year woman is blind in one eye and has some problems getting around. This bum is an insensitive idiot and although the food and service was good, never EVER going back.

Service was great. Appetizers were delicious. As far as meals, I got the primavera which was pretty good, my fiancé got the clams linguini which he felt lacked in flavor. Over all a good experience. We would go back.

Wow, this place was amazing. I grew up in an Italian family and am typically over critical of Italian restaurants because they don't use my grandma's sauce. It wasn't a problem here. While it wasn't my grandma's sauce, everything was prepared with the care my grandma put into her cooking. It was most definitely one of the top 5 Italian restaurant meals I have ever had. The room was perfect, the service was excellent, and the food was old Italian lady quality. Robert was awesome and was at the front of house greeting people as we walked in and circulating the dining room throughout the evening. I felt like I had been invited over an old friend's house for an expert home cooked meal. This is the perfect culinary experience for everyone, even if you think your grandma is the only person that can do Italian food right.

Such a great spot with great food on the island. The owner , Robert, is always so helpful and nice. Not the biggest restaurant and can get a little loud but still a great place. Everything we ordered was great with large portions. Will always come back!

Visited on 8/21 for dinner at 545! We were taken immediately to our table. The server was lovely, knowledgeable and personable. The food was 10/10 portion size was perfect especially because in our rental we didn’t have a microwave so we were worried if we had any left overs - although we were pretty hungry! We also got the summer sangria which was delish and really hit the spot with our meal. We also got the lava cake for dessert which was the perfect size. The one thing to note is parking - just like anywhere on the island it’s street parking on both sides. We were luckily to get a front parking spot but I saw many others driving around to find one. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area! Thankful for such a lovely experience.
