Beware of fees when booking a room. I cancelled my room 30 days in advance due to a work obligation and they kept over $100 of my money and refused to refund me. I will never book at this hotel again! They basically stole my money for a service they never provided me.

Beware when booking this hotel. I had to cancel my room due to a work obligation and I gave over 30 days notice. They kept over $100 of my money for a service they never provided me and refused to refund it. I will never book at this hotel again.

This place is great. We went in the off season and loved it. A great vacation is to go there in September-October ... Still good weather, quiet but not dead. Super fun.

My family and I just recently returned from a fantastic 5 day getaway to Seashell Resort in Beach Haven, NJ. All I can say is WOW! This place is amazing! From the cleanliness of the rooms to the top notch service the employees are all very professional and take great pride in this establishment. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are kept immaculate. Housekeeping cleaned the ENTIRE room every day! The food at the outdoor patio and indoor restaurant was delicious! The location is super convenient as it is right on the beach. The vibe out on the pool patio is fun for everyone! I would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning next summer!

Honestly for a tiki bar I expected there to be at least one tiki drink on the menu and more than 2 rum drinks

Nice place close to the beach with delicious food. I got the poke bowl, which was a great choice. Fresh drinks, cool vibe, a swimming pool, and quick service made the experience even better.

The short bartender at thunder thursday was very unprofessional. He refused to serve me a drink although I paid in quarters because I didn’t want to waste his time breaking the $100 bill because I knew he was busy. He proceeded to yank the beer out of my hand and told me “I don’t work for free buddy go somewhere else”. NEVER ATTENDING THIS PLACE AGAIN

We have been going to the Seashell Beach and Resort for the past several years for my wife’s birthday dinner celebration while visiting the island.

This year was no different EXCEPT this year the resort started reservations online for dinner and we were unaware.

Upon arrival on Friday, July 19th, just before 5:00pm, we were told there was only openings in the dining room. We have always dined outside and the only opening was at 8:30pm.

The manager Brittany went above and beyond to make accommodations for us and we are grateful to her for that.

The food, as always, was beyond fantastic! We look towards many more years of celebrations there.

Thank you!

Food and drinks: Excellent!

Avoid Staying Here**

During our recent stay we encountered several issues that made our experience very disappointing.

Firstly, our room was in terrible condition. There was visible mold on the walls and ceiling, which is not only unpleasant but also a health hazard. The window shades were broken, providing little to no privacy and making it difficult to sleep past sunrise. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning, making the room uncomfortably hot, especially during the warm nights.

Moreover, we encountered a confusing and seemingly unfair policy regarding the length of stay. We were informed that we had to stay for a minimum of three nights, whereas our friends, who booked separately, were only required to stay for two nights. This discrepancy felt arbitrary and unjustified.

Given these issues, I would strongly advise against staying at. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that offer better conditions and more consistent policies. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Rooms: Garbage rooms with mold

The bartender said their system said my ID was a “risk factor” and they had to call the cops to verify the validity of my ID since their systems couldn’t do it. Meanwhile the bartender was making passive aggressive comments about how I’m showing all the signs of an underaged person, assuming my ID was a fake. At one point I left to join the woman who was checking my ID with the cops (who was very lovely by the way), and the bartender continued to make comments saying “he’s leaving, that’s another sign of a fake ID”. Ruined the vibe and left after getting confirmation that my ID was in fact valid. I can’t help but feel like there was bias involved. While I understand there is protocol to this, it was handled very poorly and they lost my business.
