The Chicken or the Egg - Beach Haven

Went for lunch in October . Probably 2 tables in entire place. Ordered and brought out wrong item . Ok moving on food was not good . 2 of us had breakfast and one lunch . My sandwich was In edible Nd my granddaughter could not eat her pancakes which were hard as rock. Could not process debit card thru their little card holder
One and done . Never again but hey maybe I. Season better . I would go to McDonald's for breakfast before I came back here

I have to give this place 4 stars because my kids love it and it’s their favorite place in LBI. The food is good, greasy lol, but good. Good breakfast spot too and love that they are open late.

Not as good as I used to remember. The wings flavors were different variations of buffalo or bbq sauce; not a lot of variety. We got 95% drums for whatever reason in our 3 orders. The chicken was on the dry side.

Over priced diner food.

WTH? Closed for the season?

Went to LBI in the beginning of August and decided to stop here on the last day. So many family memories, usually had a great experience. We had already left our rental house and were planning on staying for the rest of the day. My dad got eggs and sausage and I got cinnamon french toast. After leaving the restaurant we were shopping and about 20-30 minutes later, it hit both of us. The most severe food poisoning I had ever received. We were in the bathroom at the shopping center next to fantasy island for over 2 hours! It’s now the end of November and I still have issues. I have been to the hospital, multiple doctors, missed school for over 18 days, can barely eat anything without throwing up or having diarrhea, and it all started from here. I’m not the only other person who has suffered from food poisoning after eating from this place this year. Do NOT eat here unless you want 4+ months of suffering.

The CHEG off season is a diner vibe. The service was really friendly. The salad was lacking in my opinion. This place is good for comfort food. My husband liked the buffalo chicken sandwich and clam chowder. I thought the clam chowder was a bit thick and starchy.

It's a staple on LBI- southern end of the island. You can BYOB. They have many different levels of sauces for your wings.. 6 egg ultimate omelette
