Lied about ability to accommodate food allergies. The staff was great, I don't want to take anything away from their performance. However, my spouce called the day before and was told they could accommodate the food allergies my children have. We put the Non-Refundable deposit down. Show up 24 hours later and are told they're too low on inventory to accommodate, but if we want to risk it, we can. Ultimately, no one stopped us from going and getting something for my kid and bringing it in. We weren't charged the normal fee for someone present and not eating, for that kid. All that really took away from the experience for my kid and the person who had to run out and pick up food. Felt like a bait and switch. Had they been upfront when we called, we likely still would have gone, we just would have shown up prepared with allergy safe food, and this wouldn't be a 2-star review. Horribly handled by management.
Dietary restrictions: Called ahead and said they accommodate food allergies. Get there and are told they are low on inventory, so they are unable to accommodate. Somehow, in 24 hours, everything changed...

First off labeling this place an ice cream shop is a bad description. They do serve ice cream but it's not the primary focus. This place is more of a theater show, and the show takes 45 minutes. I think knowing that will help tremendously in deciding if you are in the right mood for this place. Because you cannot just be in the mood for Ice cream. You need to be in a silly, audience participation, life of the party mood. Otherwise you are in the wrong place. I even suggest you need to be a little under the influence before coming here.
Personally I had a bad feeling when we were handed the menus. The menu was hard to decipher because it was mostly full of jokes, but we stayed out of curiosity. The place has a large line and a loyal following. It just wasn't for me. The whole thing felt like a chain restaurant that has a cringy birthday song, but it goes on for the entire night.
The ice cream was meh, the show wasn't for me but okay, the forced audience participation however is what really bothered me. I wasn't into it, but I hoped that maybe the kids were. Maybe they could have enjoyed the show if it was just a show but they were in fear the entire time that someone was going to call on them to sing in a room of strangers. Some people might enjoy being put on the spot like that, but most do not.
This isn't the place for everyone, so know what you are getting into before you arrive.

Literally let's you feel like you're transported back to the 1920's ice cream parlor experience...
Lots of laughter, happy faces and some unexpected fun...
Add some great performances for a great way to put the cherry on the top of your vacation...and so reasonably priced...a must see...

We had a great time ! The performers are so talented and the ice cream is delicious and comes out quickly.
*Just make sure you get there about 15 minutes earlier then your reservation time, we didn’t know that detail and had to rush in to our seats while the “show” already began.*

Ice cream was delicious, I had the Oliver twist which was basically a brownie sundae and it was great. Great show was performed when giving ice cream. Place was filled with laughter and a great experience especially for young kids!

Get ready for lots of silly fun while enjoying some tasty and unique ice cream desserts. Sing along as guests are "called out" to play along with the waitri.
Reservations on busy nights are a must.
Try and arrive early so your group can pick out what everyone wants before you are seated. The hour show goes by quickly and getting your order put in as soon as you are seated means your ice cream comes out quickly and you can enjoy the show.
NOTE: The restaurant is very loud. Family members with sensory issues may find the atmosphere challenging.
Dietary restrictions: As of July 2024, there were two non-dairy ice cream choices: Vanilla and Cookie Butter. Both are tasty and you can ask to substitute the non dairy for many of the desserts.

Very fun! The element of audience participation is definitely a stressor for anyone with social anxiety, but me and my friend were lucky enough not to be picked. Seems very fun if thats a thing you're into though! The ice cream was great (the wet nuts are walnuts with caramel on them btw) the lemonade was ok, and the atmosphere was very rainforest-cafe-like!
This place was really sweet. The people working are so friendly. They are working so hard, and with a smile on their face. We went after a show at next door's Surflight Theater, and were entertained with a whole other show. Our family found it very entertaining and charming.
They have dairy-free ice cream! Also fantastic show tunes and silly jokes. Love this place!
Took grand kids there for icecream and a show...think I had more fun..will b back
