This place is a bit of a mess. The positive: the beer was good, the oysters were good, and the place is cool to sit at and drink for a while. That said, it went downhill from when we walked in. The entire beer and food menu is on a chalkboard behind where you order. We ordered our beers but did not know what we wanted to eat, so I asked if we could take a menu to look over and we were told they didn't have any and that it's all on the chalkboard. One of the beers we ordered kicked the keg and instead of being offered a different one, it was expected that we just take the flat, semi-poured glass of beer to drink. We ordered oysters and a pizza. The oysters were good, but when the lady brought them out and we asked which ones were which, she had no clue and had to go ask for help. The pizza was very bland and not as advertised. We got the BBQ chicken pizza. The pizza was basically just a cheese pizza with some boiled chicken and onions and basically no BBQ sauce. It was not good. To help eat the pizza, we asked for plates and were given some paper french fry boats... To use the bathroom, you have to walk outside and walk around to the back of the building. It was pouring while we were there so the entire walk to the bathroom was flooded with water. Also, the paper towel dispenser did not work at all. This is a place that looks really great on the surface, but clearly has a lot of issues when it comes to the details of being an enjoyable, hospitable place to eat and drink.

Alright, this place is awesome. Their happy hour is out of this world for oysters and clams on the half shell. Pair that with a massive array of taps and I'm sold. I ordered 3 clams and 3 oysters on the half shell paired with a Jersey Devil IIPA. Great atmosphere, no televisions (great!) awesome music and super staff. Going back there ASAP.

Best selection of draft beer at the shore. Super chill place. Very fresh seafood - clams, lobster, oysters. The dishes are not over fancy, just good fresh food done well. Kids were encouraged which was a huge relief. Recommend the local $1 oysters and clams and the clams casino pizza - loved that. It looked like the staff had been shucking clams and oysters all day long but everyone was nice and helpful to explain how it works there. It's a bit different than a typical restaurant. But the change of pace is good i think. Kind of like a beer garden of the sea

they have a uniquely vast beer selection on tap. extremely fresh food, seafood especially. oysters are shuck right next to the bar. they also have inside and outside seating. definitely a place I will revisit. good place to visit for any occasion.

I've been here before, that said, the employee on the register couldn't be more aloof and seemed bothered that I would order something. They have the auto-tip feature on the display on which I always put $0 tip since you would be tipping before getting your food, drink and any service. I always go put cash in the jar for a tip when things are good. The guy on the register obviously saw $0 tip and treated my beer accordingly as he poured the glass, half the glass was head as he looked right at me and pushed it towards me. They either purposely or through ineptitude got my order wrong when half a dozen oysters arrived when I ordered a dozen. I eventually got everything I ordered and the oysters were fresh and well prepared. Service has definitely dropped off here.

Awesome and fresh food, such a chill atmosphere, and an amazing beverage selection. The calamari, fried clams, oysters, and caesar salad were all perfect. We loved that we could bring our dog and we will definitely be back!

A little funky in that it's a retail beer & wine store as well as a bar serving food & drink, but the food is decent and the craft beer tap list is expansive. They have bar seating and a few tables inside, as well as outdoor seating. The "frosé" is a big hit.

Wifey was in the mood for oysters and decided we'd do a date night down here and let the 'kids' just do their own thing. We walked in and were a little overwhelmed with the process so we stepped back, looked over the menu on the wall and just figured it out. The place is really quite cool with both inside and outside seating. The servers and cashier and bartender were all pretty friendly (which can sometimes be surprising after dealing with cranky customers all day) and we easily found a seat after ordering. Wifey got a Froze' (a frozen rose' wine drink) and I ordered a flight. As usual, there were way too many IPAs on the beer menu (I hate IPAs), but I found four others for a flight - three I loved and one was just ok (Nautical Twilight by coastal brewing, Salt and Sea by Flying Fish-a sour, Triple Horse by Riverhorse and Brawler Champion by Yard's - this was the one that was just ok). Wifey ordered six oysters on the half shell, I had a dozen clams in the half shell and we also had some fried clam strips and split a wedge salad. The clam strips were a bit overdone, but were ok...The clams and oysters were fantastic. Overall, we really liked this place and would definitely come back next year.
