Vero is amazing. They do EVERYTHING right. From the repeating your order to ensure accuracy, to the courtesy call when it is ready, to even helping you carry it out to the car if needed... by the owner... The people that run this place are humble, friendly, and so SO good at what they do.
The food is the most consistent and high quality you can ask for. I have tried a few of the pizzas, sandwiches, and apps so far. Each time its the best pep pizza I've had in a long time, the best Italian hoagie I've had in a long time, the best buffalo chicken cheese steak I've had in a while. I work in an office 7 minutes away and we will do anything to find an excuse to order in Vero. Do yourself a favor and visit asap.

All the toppings fell off the pizza in the bag. They used a paper bag instead of a box for a $20 order. Just low quality.
Passing thru and stumbled on Vero. Excellent calzone! The owner and his team very friendly. Cannole was filled fresh. Highly recommend!

Most of you who follow me know i only leave reviews if I think highly of a place. Vero Pizzeria has the absolute best pizza in 70 miles. The cheese pie perfect, the BBQ chicken awesome, traditional homemade Nona style excellence. I live near them and will never order from anywhere again! Thus is a must try 100%. The staff friendly and incredible. The atmosphere fantastic! They get the nod! And that new summer special sandwich was absolutely flavor chaos!

I needed somewhere to grab a quick lunch charge my car on my way back from the shore. Vero Pizzeria was the perfect spot. I couldn’t pass up slices of the Sicilian Trio and Vodka Chicken Parm! Antimo took my order and he was so accommodating and personable. You can really tell he cares about his business. I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s craving great pizza and even better service.

The Summer Blockbuster!!!
Stopped by close to closing to grab a quick bite after a baseball game and the staff were more than kind taking great care of us.
We ordered their special sandwich, I think it was named the Summer Blockbuster and it was PERFECT!!!
It was a chicken cutlet, pesto, fresh mozzarella, mortadella, and arugula on homemade focaccia style bread. What an awesome sandwich. My kid loved it too and the service, owner and staff were so kind too. Definitely going back again!!!

Was charging the Tesla and stopped by for some pizzas by the slice and had the chicken, bacon ranch and a meat lovers and it was phenomenal. Super fast service, amazing pizza and I was back to my car before it was done charging.

Great pizza (we got takeout) while stopping at the Tesla Supercharger next door! We ordered the Eggplant Parm Sicilian (thick, square) because I couldn’t decide between pizza and eggplant parm! Delicious. Ordered online for a set pickup time so it was ready when we arrived. Very friendly staff.

I stopped by while exploring the area, drawn in by the strong reviews. The staff were warm, courteous, and very patient as I took my time deciding what to order. I mentioned that I can’t handle spicy food, and when they reassured me the vodka sandwich wasn’t spicy, I went with their recommendation—even though I originally had a cheesesteak in mind.
The sandwich came out quickly and was generously cheesy and saucy. While it was well-prepared, it ended up tasting a bit too mellow for me. I tried adding black pepper, garlic powder, and oregano to bring out more flavor, but it still didn’t quite hit the spot.
To be fair, it’s tough for someone to recommend something without knowing your exact preferences. The staff did everything right—I just didn’t communicate what I was really in the mood for. On my way out, one of the team members offered a kind goodbye, which was a really thoughtful touch and left a positive impression.
I'd definitely come back to try something different next time. Maybe offering a bit more description or flavor guidance with menu items could help customers like me find their best fit. Overall, great service and a friendly team—I look forward to visiting again.
First time trying Vero and it was delicious! We got a pepperoni pizza, chicken fingers/fries and cheese fries. Everything was great and I will definitely be back to try other items.
