9th Ave Pier offers a unique dining experience, especially during sunset, with a lively Jersey Shore atmosphere and live music. While the menu has lost its appeal for vegetarians, with only pretzels as an option, the restaurant's outdoor seating and Guinness beer make for a memorable visit. The rum buckets are great, and the view is awesome at sunset. The chicken Caesar salad was ok, but the chicken was dried out. The burger looked good, and the oysters were just ok. Some reviewers have noted issues with understaffing, spotty kitchen service, and a lack of sustainability in their practices. The waitress was friendly, but they were out of every beer ordered and had no desserts or candles for a birthday celebration. Despite this, it’s a wonderful place to hang with friends and family, and the live band makes it a fun spot to visit.
