Always fresh and hot. Service with a smile. Old diner could use a facelift..but always clean
Food was decent, Southern friend said grits were great also. Super quick service.
Great food. Friendly staff. It is an old place so somewhat warm inside since it seems the AC can’t keep up on a hot day. But worth enduring for the food!
We walked in and asked for a table. Hostess said there were none available. We asked if any would be available soon to which she replied “it doesn’t look like it” she said the breakfast bar was open. We sat down and the waitress at the bar took our order. Directly after a table became available.I asked the host if we could move to it. She asked the bar waitress who rolled her eyes and looked irritated and said “no you have already ordered at the bar” The bar stools were so uncomfortable I considered standing up to eat my breakfast.
Fantastic and delicious diner experience in Belmar with comfortable outdoor seating and friendly staff. It's the kind of restaurant where you feel like you would eventually befriend the owner and get to know everyone who works there as you become a regular. If I lived in Belmar, I'd be here very often.
Fresh! Prepared perfectly! Delicious! Excellent food & service! Great specials! Live this local diner and everything about it!
Stopped for breakfast on way out of town with the entire family, because Greek diner for breakfast is a can't miss. Banana pancakes, blueberry pancakes, hash, omelette, hungry man and kids pancakes were really good.. Eggs Benedict ok but eggs overdone. Did not catch name of waitress, but she had red hair and was awesome!
The Acropolis is a 5-star dining establishment posing as a down home country diner. Everything thing about our breakfast experience was top notch. First thing, the food. Large portions, small prices, authentic and delicous, Attractive decor, friendly andprofessional staff, relaxed atmosphere, you cant ask for more for breakfast.. Since all tables were full we sat at the bar and were lucky enough to be near the grill where we watched the seasoned owner artfully create orders. He introduced himself to us and ended up being the highlight of our time here. Andreas was a pleasure to talk with and watch. Our waitress was fast, friendly and organized. We are here for two days and will be back tomorrow morning
This diner serves all kinds of dishes, and it's an old school diner with the counter, and the stools.
Was walking threw Belmar this morning and passed by as this place opened.Sometimes life works in mysterious ways. Nice place, the owner was very nice. Lots to choose from, decided with the Irish omelet w/ turkey sausage, nice portion absolutely delicious ?.The French toast, I almost ordered ( looked good ). Worth a look, you won't be disappointed. ????

Come hungry, leave happy. Andy is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. His food is wonderful, staff excellent. Andy makes the best homemade soups, rice pudding, gyro's, burgers.
Best breakfasts! Wonderful owners and staff!
Coffee was terrible . Very weak. Went for breakfast and waitress and staff rude and didn’t smile. I asked if they had corned beef hash and she stated it was from a can! Our food sat on the counter for some time and I had to ask to bring it to our table. Food was bland and the ham was thin and very salty, obviously an inexpensive cut and salty to mask the taste. And then…,,, A COCKROACH CRAWLED ACROSS THE TABLE!!!!!!! Ugghh
Comfortable and friendly, the Acropolis serves up consistently delicious, and cooked to perfection, breakfasts and lunch.
Delicious! Large portions, nice staff. The Greek omelette was wonderful. Would definitely come back!
