Found this restaurant during restaurant week and what a pleasant surprise! Food was excellent, service excellent and a nice unique atmosphere. Some seating family style which adds to the ambiance. BYOB. Excellent meal and especially the deserts (ended up ordering an extra!) they also had nice live guitar player. Easy parking. I will certainly put this place top of the list going forward!
It was Jersery Shore restaurant week so the price was good for a menu tasting. The beef wellington was good not exceptional. The Thai shrimp was EXCELLENT even though a little spicier than one might think. Shrimp is on the regular menu and worth a return. Oyster Rockafeller were another excellent choice.
Food was great, especially the beef Wellington. We did not know that it was BYOB, so that was annoying bc we were really looking forward to a cocktail. The waiter very nicely told us the package store across the way would deliver and when I called the lady said no she couldn't deliver bc she was alone. So a member of our party went over there. Not the end of the world, but they were priced very expensively. The bottle of wine we wanted was $30 and I've bought it before for $23. Price gouging bc they know people will pay if they were in our situation. It would be good if Brandl had byob on the open table description.
The best of upscale dining at the Jersey Shore. Spectacular seafood and steak dishes. Look for the daily specials.
Horrible service. Extremely rude and borderline nasty. Food was undercooked and gnarly. Soufflé was undercooked, still raw liquid.

The food was terrific, service was great. Sent a request for Beef Wellington for my wife's Birthday and they did not disappoint.
Ate there on an off-season week nignt. Was very quiet. Food was very good especially the pot stickers and scallops. Good looking room.
We went specifically for the Sunday “Lazy Lobster” special, and it did not disappoint. We have been coming here for many years, and this was one of our best experiences: nice enough to sit outside if you wanted, but “local summer” season — much quieter. Service was cheerful, prompt and attentive. BYOB is a plus. We'll be back soon.

Food was good, but service awful. We did not expect to pay this much for such poor service. Our initial greeting was good. Our waiter seemed to have a bad attitude which my wife and I both perceived. Dirty plates were left and not removed. In the end, we wanted to leave and had trouble getting anyone's attention. We are tuna tater as an app. I had salmon and my wife had lazy lobster. Due to the worst service in a fine dining establishment, I would not recommend this place and we will not return.
I ordered a filet mignon, rare. Not hard. Came to me well done; no pink at all. Sent it back. He brings out another one. Same thing. About 10 mins later, brings another and at least it was pink this time, so I took it. Scallops were good but salty. Foie Gras was delightful. Won't return.
I can’t review the food here and never will after the experience I had today. I walked in during a festival because my toddler had to desperately use the bathroom and was “greeted” by a bald guy shouting “what do you want” I thought he was joking. I asked if my daughter could please use the bathroom and he again shouted “no get lost” again thought it was a joke. NOPE. He was completely serious. I was SHOCKED. The place was empty inside but there were people eating outside so I’m not sure if the business was closed or not but the front door was open. Insanely rude. We’re talking about a toddler here, not myself a grown woman needing to use the bathroom. Learn how to treat people with respect! Unreal!!

Not the experience I had hoped for. Couldn't substitute arugula for a different green. Forgot our dessert. Filet was so tough I couldn't cut it. So expensive for so downhill.
Brandl never disappoints, once again we had a great dining experience. The Pot Stickers appetizer was delicious, great flavor. Both our dinners were big portions and delicious. The service is always very good, with fair prices in a nice, cozy setting.
