great atmosphere inside - huge selection at the salad and side dish bar - helpful staff - had no room for dessert but the menu looked great
We had an amazing experience at Flames Brazilian Steakhouse! The service was excellent — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The food was absolutely fantastic, from start to finish. We'll definitely be back again soon!

TERRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE TO EAT. Came here expecting the most and what we got was rotten/old meat. The buffet also had old and crunchy rice with overcooked beans. Not to mention everything was cold. If you hate someone take them here for a meal. I have concerns for the quality of food safety here. Drinks were good though.

I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately my recent experience at Flame in Belmar left me very disappointed. We had been looking forward to dining here, especially for the Rodizio, which was the main reason we went. Sadly, it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in the area.
The food itself was poor in quality and completely lacking in flavor. The Rodizio, which should be the highlight, tasted like old, flavorless meat and was a far cry from the fresh, seasoned cuts one would expect. Nothing on the table stood out as enjoyable or worth recommending.
Adding to the letdown was the service. The staff seemed inattentive, and it often felt as if no one was checking on the tables or ensuring guests were being taken care of. When we tried to raise our concerns, the manager’s demeanor came across as unprofessional and dismissive, which made the situation even worse.
It’s disappointing because the concept of Flame has great potential, but execution matters. From the lack of taste in the food to the inattentive staff and unprofessional management, the experience was one I would not want to repeat. With so many excellent dining options in Belmar, I cannot recommend Flame at this time. Poor management equals bad customer experience. When a restaurant manager tells you that “when she doesn’t likes the food at a restaurant, I pay and leave” you know you’re in the wrong place. Not an I’m sorry, not a “is there anything we can do”.
Lastly, I requested to pay with tap, they said, “our owner doesn’t like for us to do tap, do you have a physical card?” Then grabs my card and taps it against the machine? Clearly states money grab! Diner’s beware!!! I would’ve rather spent $100+ at 7Eleven on Ocean Avenue.

Great everything .. it's pricey but def worth it. Portuguese sangria goes very well with the food
Great selections at the salad bars that we decided to stick with them and we're not disappointed in the least. The soups, salads, cheeses, and hot items were truly delicious! I've got to remember to go back and sit at the bar to enjoy their numerous happy hour specials! Enjoy!!!
As a Brazilian, I can confidently say this is one of the most authentic and delicious Brazilian churrascos I've had outside of Brazil! The quality of the meats is outstanding , and cooked to perfection. The drinks are also great, don't skip the caipirinha! A special shoutout to our server André. He always goes out of his way to make us feel welcome and taken care of, remembering our favorites and making sure that pão de queijo (cheese bread!) is always on our table. He's always nice and makes every visit worth it! Highly recommend this place — not just for the food, but for the entire experience.
