Great BBQ on the jersey shore. Pete and the team were so nice. We had a large party o had to wait 20 mins which wasn't a problem. The food was amazing we had ribs, burgers, fried shrimp, BBQ chicken, Mac and cheese, collard greens and fried pickles. The whole table really enjoyed the food. What a great experience. Thank you.

This review is solely based on my customer service experience and lack of communication and not a reflection of their food because their food is very good. Very disappointed in the experience I had trying to place a catering order for my daughter’s 1st birthday party. Everything was fine until we discussed the pick up time. I asked if we could pick up at 11am or 11:30am and the response I received was the best they could do was 12pm when they open. I explained that our party started at 12pm. The coordinator was going to check with the chef to “see what they could do” Almost a whole day went by without a response. Then I finally heard back that they could not accommodate any earlier than 12pm. I responded asking if we could pick up on Friday and just re-heat it Saturday morning.(we were running out of options at this point) NO RESPONSE RECEIVED. Straight up ignored my email. First of all, you are telling me that a restaurant that opens as 12pm does not have any staff there earlier than the time that they physically open to get everything ready? I have worked at plenty of restaurants when I was younger and they always had employees there before they opened to set up, etc. I’m so disappointed! Poor customer service. It is not like we were asking for them to open the restaurant early to host a party there….we were just wanting to pick up the food 30mins - 1hr earlier. They would’ve let us pick up at 12pm but not 11:30? What a shame because their food is very good and we were looking forward to having our friends and family try it.

Very good place. They had a bunch of gluten free options available. The ribs were perfectly cooked, although I thought they could have had more meat on the bones (still very tasty though). My girlfriend had Mac and cheese and said it was very tasty.

Service and food was great. We got the wings, ribs, chicken, and a bunch of sides and everything came out great. We saw the caramelized bacon in the food display and couldn’t go without getting some before leaving. Multiple staff checking up to make sure everything was up to par. Thank you very much! The food at JSBBQ is incredible! Best BBQ around! The service is not too bad here. The decor is fitting, but is definitely lacking something. I suppose it could be polished up a little. Prices are right.

The "New" Point Location is amazing... The space is comfortable and spacious. I, of course went for the food.. Great menu and the service was excellent. Onto the food... My mouth is still watering from last night. The homemade pimento cheese, and kielbasa appetizer and the smoked pork belly to start.... AMAZING... But, the highlight for me, was something I have never seen on a menu. A pizza with a light smudge of mustard. Yes, mustard.. Then I put a piece of kielbasa on it... WOW.... I cannot wait to go back.. This place is a 5 star, home run, for you and your family..Thank you, so much for a great evening, Kim and I will be back. OFTEN..
As a Southern transplant, I’m picky about my BBQ, and this is my favorite place in NJ! Pork, brisket, and ribs are all outstanding. Love the fried brussel sprouts and pork belly apps. Sauces are all amazing, and I could eat their “fry sauce” on just about anything!

Amazing experience. It is BYOB ... if you bring beers they have chilled glasses ready for you. Wings were meaty, saucy and delicious. Highly recommend the Kayla wing sauce. Ribs, mac and cheese, collard greens, corn bread, ranch beans -- all 10/10. We will be back!

Excellent BBQ...Brisket was really good, moist and flavorful...Ribs have nice seasonings, just a bit overdone...The pulled pork, WOW...Ordered it with NO sauce, and it was great. Nice and moist, good taste.The greens and the fried brussel sprouts were great...We will definitely be back...
