Excellent service without being over bearing! Our food was tasty and presentation was mouth watering. When asked for a fresh fruit salad for dessert, our waiter didn't hesitate, even though this was off menu. If you haven't tried La Dolce Vita, it is worth the visit and you won't be disappointed!

First time dining here k although we've heard great things about LDV. Very popular seaside restaurant, a bit loud at times , but the food and service were excellent . We enjoyed it and will definitely come back !

I had the chicken Francese which was tender but not enough sauce, making it very bland. Rack of Lamb was good as well as the seafood pasta and steak. The bread was amazxing. Service was good. I would not rush to go back alhough nothing was really bad. Too much competition out there to not try other places.

We have been here before and had good experiences but we unfortunately had a quite poor one this last go around. While the food is good, they really pack the tables in so you are on top of each other. Several members at our table were bumped by servers running by the entire meal because of how close the tables were sat together. During dessert, while our waiter was putting cappuccinos on the table, a patron from the table behind us (again, the tables were very packed in) bumped our server who accidentally spilled a hot cappuccino down my husbands shirt, all over my coat and into my purse. No one ever came to apologize to my husband and my mom and I raced to the bathroom to try and clean cappuccino and milk froth off of a designer purse and bag. I totally get that accidents happen, but I would have expected a manager to immediately come over, check on everyone (hot drink spill) and apologize. We never heard from a manager, and while the waiter said sorry, I did not find this to be acceptable given the circumstances at a restaurant where we are spending $300+ on a meal. They gave us two of the desserts for free, but again, someone should have come over, apologized, and offered to pay for dry cleaning for all of the items damaged. On our way out, because we understand this was an accident but thought this was mishandled, I asked to speak to a manager to explain what had happened and ask if they would pay for the dry cleaning. The gentleman I spoke to said they could offer me a $100 gift card for the next time we came in to the restaurant or I could bring in the dry cleaning receipt. I said that dry cleaning would suffice and asked if he wanted to take my name and phone number and he said no. There was no anger or malice from either party and the food is very good but based off of the handling of this distressing and quite honestly dangerous situation (hot drink spill), I am quite disappointed and we will not be coming back. We had a horrible experience NYE here. We made reservations for 6:30 and didn't get in until 7 because they said they were “backed up”. Usually when I make a reservation that is the purpose of it. To get a table at my assigned time. They made us sit almost an hour for our table and then to add insult to injury, after an hour I went to the reservation stand they had given our table away saying they called us and we didn't answer which was definitely not the case. My husband, my son and I were standing there the whole time, and they never called us. Due to this I will never ever go to that restaurant ever again. And that's a shame because we live in Bradley Beach and we're telling everyone about our horrible experience that night. Everyone had a horrible experience that night. They have incompetent people dealing with the maître D desk zero stars all around.

Loved the pork chop, sea bass and linguine with red clam sauce. Natalie was an excellent server.

All of our food was delicious. Prices a tad high for portion sizes but what it didn't make up for in value it made up for in taste!!!

Made a reservation in advance and we arrived we were told that they didn’t have a table for us. We were told to go wait at the bar we were told we would get a table as soon as possible but we were told how long we had to wait. When my wife asked about 20 minutes later she was told that they couldn’t tell us how long it would be before a table was ready. Then she was told that we could wait or leave. We didn’t wait as we were leaving I saw about 4 or 5 empty tables. I am very disappointed with the way we were treated.

Is a nice higher end Italian restaurant. The food and service are very good here. This place gets very busy in the summer. The prices are a bit high but you have to expect that given its location and the type of food that you get. The interior is comfortable and very well lit. This is definitely a nice place to come with friends or on a date.
Was not crowded for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Service was excellent and food was very good.

This place is a goldmine so I guess there’s no need for good food. Every time we go we forget not to order the shrimp cocktail, it’s never cooked right & the shrimp are never cold. Why 😖 Place is always disheveled inside … really needs a good cleaning. I wish someone that cared about the place took it over & made it as wonderful as it should be.

We booked this dinner for 5 people a few weeks in advance and since it was for a special 40th birthday, we requested window seating. Instead, we were placed behind the bar area next to the bathrooms and next to a huge, noisy, surprise 70th birthday party. When we complained we were told we would have a substantial wait for nicer seating and to make up our minds because other people would grab this table if available. Our service seemed rushed, and the food was only average. Very disappointing.

Waiter charged for cocktail drink that never brought to the table. When asked for additional bread had to wait and it was brought to the table after done eating dinner.
