We booked this dinner for 5 people a few weeks in advance and since it was for a special 40th birthday, we requested window seating. Instead, we were placed behind the bar area next to the bathrooms and next to a huge, noisy, surprise 70th birthday party. When we complained we were told we would have a substantial wait for nicer seating and to make up our minds because other people would grab this table if available. Our service seemed rushed, and the food was only average. Very disappointing.

Waiter charged for cocktail drink that never brought to the table. When asked for additional bread had to wait and it was brought to the table after done eating dinner.

Great experience at La Dolce Vita. The service and food were excellent. Wonderful seafood options. My wife had a chilean sea bass and it was cooked perfectly. I chose the seafood risotto and loved it. The restaurant is a bit noisy as it is typically crowded. Would definitely go there again.

Do not expect the prices on OpenTable's site when you arrive at the restaurant! They are easily $10-$15 dollars more than advertised. I'm not sure whose fault this is - OpenTable or the restaurant. But it definitely impacted our experience. Wait staff was attentive, food was very good albeit overpriced. There are areas of the restaurant that are very loud, but we were one of the first tables sat in a quiet back room. With that though went the views of the ocean, which we had been looking forward too. Too bad you have to choose between the noise level and the views. If you're okay with paying high prices - for example, Chicken Parm was priced at $34.99, and no soup/salad offering - you may enjoy this restaurant. We ate well, but won't be returning.

Filthy dining room, bar and restrooms ... inattentive and poor English speaking wait staff, food just average at excessively high prices ... shut this place down, hire new staff, train them, clean it up and wipe the food and grease smeared all over the menus before seating patrons ... big disappointment!

Nice place. Food was very good . Service was great. The atmosphere is beautiful. The only negative thing was the noise level was so loud . It made it difficult to hear the people you are sitting with. I wish there was something that could be done about that. It really is the only thing that keeps us from going all the time.
Because we went on a Saturday night, we knew it would be busy, however, it was so loud that we couldn't enjoy any conversation with our family around our round table. The waiter couldn't even get to the people at our table so he would just give my daughter all of the drinks or plates and she would have to distribute to everyone. We had to flag him down to ask for grated cheese and more water. It felt very chaotic. Not what we imagined an expensive dinner party should be, maybe we'll try again in the winter...

made a res for 6 people. it was a beautiful night, we wanted to dine outside. they would not put 2 tables together - tried to squeeze us at a table for 4. It was early - 5:00- so there were plenty of tables outside. they offered inside so we moved inside. it was so loud, we could barely speak to each other. Although my entree was off the specials menu and was delicious (the Branzino) the other entree's were not as enjoyable. (three people ordered the chicken rollatini). Our waiter was excellent. he was very busy but managed to stay very attentive to our table. We have been here before and always enjoyed our experience, this was disappointing.
