Filthy dining room, bar and restrooms ... inattentive and poor English speaking wait staff, food just average at excessively high prices ... shut this place down, hire new staff, train them, clean it up and wipe the food and grease smeared all over the menus before seating patrons ... big disappointment!

Nice place. Food was very good . Service was great. The atmosphere is beautiful. The only negative thing was the noise level was so loud . It made it difficult to hear the people you are sitting with. I wish there was something that could be done about that. It really is the only thing that keeps us from going all the time.

Because we went on a Saturday night, we knew it would be busy, however, it was so loud that we couldn't enjoy any conversation with our family around our round table. The waiter couldn't even get to the people at our table so he would just give my daughter all of the drinks or plates and she would have to distribute to everyone. We had to flag him down to ask for grated cheese and more water. It felt very chaotic. Not what we imagined an expensive dinner party should be, maybe we'll try again in the winter...

made a res for 6 people. it was a beautiful night, we wanted to dine outside. they would not put 2 tables together - tried to squeeze us at a table for 4. It was early - 5:00- so there were plenty of tables outside. they offered inside so we moved inside. it was so loud, we could barely speak to each other. Although my entree was off the specials menu and was delicious (the Branzino) the other entree's were not as enjoyable. (three people ordered the chicken rollatini). Our waiter was excellent. he was very busy but managed to stay very attentive to our table. We have been here before and always enjoyed our experience, this was disappointing.

Food and service are amazing! The noise level in the restaurant, especially the dining room, was very high. Could barely hear the person sitting next to me.

The food would be good if it was served hot. The tables are jammed in too tightly. There's people standing around waiting for their table right next to you as you try to enjoy your lukewarm food. There are people coming in right from the beach with bathing suits on. This place needs to decide what it is. A nice place for a good dinner or a place to go to from the beach for some food and drinks. Before they expanded it was a nice upscale restaurant. Now it's just a food and drink joint. I won't be back.

The service was great! The food was so-so but not surprised given the summer crowds. Have been here many times i. The past but never in the summer. I would stick to off-season dining here.

The food was absolutely horrible. My girlfriend ordered the filet. It was tasteless, expensive and looked cheap. The calamari was over fried. I had a tasteless pasta dish with seafood. Expensive with horrible food. I do not recommend.

Delicious dinner at La Dolce Vita. Hadn't been in a few years but did not disappoint. Sat outside and enjoyed oysters and mussels to start in a delicious white wine garlic sauce. For dinner had the fettuccine dolce vita and my husband had the seafood risotto.

Place could use a facelift. Other than being across the street from the beach, there nothing here. Food-average , Drinks awful! Service??? Then we were ask to pay our check our time was up!!! One and done. 👎

I was expecting amazing food with how crowded it was. But it really was not anything to write home about. Seemed like a lot of locals were there. We might have just picked the wrong items. We got the chicken parm and the veal parm. Red sauce was the most depressing part.

When we arrived on time with a reservation we were led to a table for 2 in the noisy bar with people three deep standing around our table. We refused it. This was our first visit here and we were not happy about the seating. We had to wait another half hour and they placed us in a small table for two in the middle of The floor with servers bumping into thr backs of our chairs. Two minutes later they sat 2 people ar window seats, tables for 4, so to say we were disappointed... Service was excellent but rushed. Calamari was over cooked, the sea bass was excellent, the seafood risotto was soupy with about 10 tiny tiny clams not worth eating but a pain to dig out of the rice. The other dishes coming out looked divine. We will try this place again maybe on a week night when it's not so loud and crowded.

I dine at La Dolce Vita twice a year. As an out of state resident who eats Italian food weekly, I have not found a restaurant better than La Dolce Vita. Never disappoints me. Service and food is wonderful.
