Food was good but expensive and needed some flavor. Service was decent but not super friendly. Beautiful space inside but would have been nice to have outdoor seating options.
Greta food and service

Best seafood in the shore!!!
By far the best Maryland Crab Cakes Ive ever had. Mr Shrimp has always been one of my favorite Jersey shore seafood restaurants. Every summer when I visit my parents this place is on the MUST DO LIST. Shout out to our waitress Chelsey. You always deliver top-notch customer service. My family and I very much appreciate you 💕
We've eaten her dozens of times but today was the worst experience I've had in a restaurant.
Note! Not too busy during this visit
Ashley took our order and that's about all we saw of her until we had to seek her out for the check. No beverage refills, no plates with our appetizers, no stopping by to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Tossing of the check portfolio on the table was the last straw! I should note that the other servers were very pleasant but they never followed up either just dropped off the food.
While you're good, poor service has sunk many restaurants .
Train people properly
Casual seafood spot with very tasty fresh fish at reasonable prices. Good service.
This place ruined my night and next morning. Do not recommend eating here.

I went to Mr. Shrimp yesterday for my birthday dinner 2 children & 2 adults, keep in mind it was not busy at all for a Friday night. I’ve been here 3 times in the past and let me tell you last night was my worse experience overall with everything. I’m not the type to write bad review but I had to. We hardly saw our waitress for the entire time we were there. She was busy eating, on her phone texting or talking to her co-worker. She took our orders and brought our beverages out. Now tell me who goes to a restaurant and the waiter/waitress doesn’t offer if we would like the children food first? We were waiting for a while before all 4 meals came out. Like I said our waitress was no where around. She didn’t came over to asked how’s everything, is there anything I can get you. When they placed my dish on the table I wanted to barf ?. I wished I took a picture. The presentation was not presentable AT ALL. The food has no taste, the rice was not cooked properly. Plus she messed up my order. I asked for stuffed lobster tail and I got a regular lobster that smells raw. When I asked our waitress if I could get something else because is not what I excepted plus my order was wrong. She offered to bring the crab meat on the side instead of taking it back to give me what I order. She didn’t took me food back. I had to pay for that uneatable food plus a new entree which didn’t made a difference. I was so turned off I had no interest to even eat. The food overall was just tasteless, lack of presentation and just not appetizing. I know I will NOT be be going back there. It was just just pure disappointment from beginning to end.

Love the lunch special, salmon Caesar salad. Never disappoints. Today I tried the lemon tart and it was great.

We went to celebrate my son birthday again at Mr Shrimp, I personally don’t like the food (flavorless) but my kids love the clam pod. As the fourth time going there, they always make us sit on the back; with all the minority people ( we are hispanic), while the front is full of white people. The first two times I thought it was a coincidence, but now as the fourth time going I think it is not a coincidence. I believe it is what they do, minorities you sit on a corner or the back; while white people welcome to the nice front tables. I didn’t know we still during the time of Rosa Parks. I am not going back to this restaurant again. FYI: the waitress only does what they are told by the owners, I don’t blame the hostess.
