The gumbo was okay. I’ve had better tasting gumbo. The rice was too spicy to eat and it was not cooked all the way. I was disappointed as I had read reviews before ordering from this place. I won’t order again.

The food is outstanding. This is our birthday spot for all of our friends and family since 2007.

The alligator sausage is the only reason I ever stop here. I love Cajun food and took a lot of trial and error and time to learn to cook it authentically. The gumbo here is very light, a good gumbo should have a milk chocolate colored roux, many people get it even darker. The jambalaya is ok. It really is just ok Cajun food, I think a lot of stuff is from cans, I really hope it becomes more authentic in the future, but for now I go to Clementines if I don't feel like making Cajun/creole. I'm convinced most of these reviews are from people who know NOTHING about Cajun food.

We have been coming here for years. Years - and it remains one of our all time favorites!!! It’s like relaxing in the kitchen of a great friend while they whip you up one of their specialties. We’ve never had a bad time here at Ragin Cajun!!!

The bread with roasted garlic was excellent and so was the coconut shrimp, very tender and flavorful. The gumbo was tan in color. Not much of a roux and lacked flavor, had a little kick to it, Not even close to New Orleans gumbo. Jambalaya portion was good but way too spicy. Garlic angel hair was very good and the service was top notch. Loved the team work and attentiveness from the servers.

We've been going here for over 25 yrs! Are we that old? Whatever. The food is fresh, hot, cooked just before serving, not sitting around, giant scallops, spicy as you like, fresh veggies, quality is the order of the day!! Your taste buds will thank you, and you'll have plenty for lunch the next day. No skimping on portions. The lobster bisque? One word. YUM!!!

Ragin Cajun is one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is consistently excellent and cooked with love. The staff is very warm and friendly. I have been going for over 10 years and never been disappointed. Blackened scallops are fantastic and Swamp daddy pasta is incredible.
