While visiting Bookends Ridgewood NJ I looked for a nearby dine in Filipino restaurant and came across Bamboo Grill plenty of tables food and service was great definitely will come back often when in the area. I come here for the Lechon Kawali
Bamboo grill is a great place to get some authentic Filipino food.
We ordered:
- lumpia: fried egg rolls stuffed with meat
- pancit palabok: noodle dish
- Lumpia sariwa: vegetable-stuffed crepe in a savory sauce
- Liempo: grilled pork belly
- Kare kare: oxtail stew with tripe and vegetables in a peanut sauce

The food at Bamboo Grill was delicious, I especially enjoyed their lumping sariwa, crispy pata, pancit, bbq chicken and squid. Their bibingka was also very good. What is exceptional for me is the staff. They were very attentive to our needs and made sure that our party was comfortable. The food came out fast, fresh and all the “sawsawan” to complement the food with out asking. Highly recommend this place for a family/friends gathering. We will be back :)
