Bubbakoo's Burritos

I tried Bubbakoo’s for the first time and was very happy with the quality of the food and the friendly workers there. I was helped by Jack, who was extremely attentive and helpful. This is definitely a place worth coming back to!

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with so-called Mexican-style food. The chicken bowl I ordered was completely lacking in flavor—bland to the point of being inedible. On top of that, everything in the bowl was excessively dry, making it impossible to finish even half of my meal. I ultimately had to throw most of it away.

For a restaurant that markets itself as a Mexican food franchise, the quality and taste were far below even the most basic expectations. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. There are plenty of other options that deliver better flavor, quality, and overall value for your money. I will not be returning.

I tend to come here once in a while because the food is great and the staff is nice. However, yesterday I ran into issue with my order for the first time and wasn’t too satisfied with the service. I called to let them know about it and the guy was questioning me as if I was lying about my order being messed up. I explained to him I have a picture for confirmation and I can bring back the order if needed. I arrive at the restaurant and wasn’t even properly greeted. It appeared he already knew it was me from seeing me walk inside with the bag and didn’t properly greet me. He took the bag and looked at the receipt and had fixed the order but it seemed he had a bit of an attitude while in the process of doing so. Overall, I wasn’t too happy with the service as this is one of my favorite spots and they’re usually more friendly. He could’ve been a bit more polite and accommodating to my needs as well asking if there was anything else I may have needed. Not sure if he was having a rough day, but it’s not a good look to people who come to support your business. 👎

To be fair, I only ordered online but everything was excellent, so I can’t fault them for anything. My go to is the build your own burrito bowl with a side of chips and guacamole.

I’m new to Bubbakoo’s Burritos as I just started eating it 2 weeks ago & I do not regret it. When I’m in the mood for a quick taco fix I know where to go & my stomach will not regret it the next day 😉

I love Bubbakoos. This was my first time trying out the Berkley heights one and it did not disappoint. Good food, friendly staff and clean environment. I recommend the birriadilla and the Chihuahua. None of these are an option to click in what dishes you recommend here so.
