First time visiting Lupa to celebrate my birthday with my husband and in-laws and it was fantastic. We stared with the fett'unta (charred bread) along with the bread basket and house made tomato spread which could be a meal in itself. Sharing with the table was the beef carpaccio - it was excellent and I was in heaven. Mains were the cacciucco (Tuscan fish stew) , shrimp scampi, paglia e fieno (tagliatelle with parmigiano reggiano cream ) and the beef short rib. You know...
I come from an Italian family and have been eating Italian cuisine my whole life. This is by and far the best Italian food I’ve ever had…and quite frankly some of the best food I’ve had period. It’s the only place I shake my head while I’m eating because of how phenomenal the food is. Can’t say enough good things about it.
