Typically, I would never write a bad review about a local business, however, from the first bite of raw chicken I knew it was going to be a bad experience. I didn't even make it home before I was sick from a chicken sandwich I ate (peices of). My child had a sandwich, which was fine but it's not hard to make a grilled cheese. The counter help was too busy on their phones to accurately take my order, which I had to ask to be fixed. I would understand if they were busy, but it was only me and one other customer! Overall it was an awful experience and I've ate there before, which had been okay. I feel it has gone downhill, including the actual substance within their subs. This one is an unfortunate loss.

Great subs, great staff. The subs are huge and delicious. Ingredients seem to be top notch. I usually go there at slack times so I never have to wait, but the whole staff works together and gets me out of there fast anyway, and always with a smile. Highly recommended.

Been looking for a great pastrami sub since moving to NJ 3 yrs ago. Many places don’t carry it. Tried Diesel’s for the first time ever and loved the pastrami! Great portions, made just how I asked and reasonably priced. Love how the meats are sliced to order as they make sandwiches. Fresh and delicious!
If your hours sat open till 8 and you show up at 7;45 you shouldn’t turn a customer away. Say you close at 7:45 then!

This review is not about diesels food but about one of the rude workers i came across tonight (Thursday 7pm). We came in ordered food and sat down no music playing about fifteen minutes into us eating and chatting the music got uncomfortably loud to the point i couldn't even hear my friend across the table. My friend didnt even get her food yet so we waited and then left. She was so incredibly rude. She was blonde wearing a gray ss! Diesels has great food but i didnt get to enjoy it because i couldn't even hear my own thoughts. I usually don't post reviews but i couldn't let this go!

Don't trust the posted store hours. Twice arrived at 7:30pm and 7:40pm. For 8:00pm closure. Doors locked. Employees even acknowledge that they saw you pull up or heard you knock. Other sub shops not as good, but at least you get to eat.
