Excellent food and a great intimate setting. Had the claims and mussels in a spicy sauce. Followed by a spinach fettuccine with crab meat special. The veal was also very good. And to top it off, had the tres leche dessert. Our server gave us great recommendations. First time dinning here and will definitely come again!

Wow! We had dinner here with friends and I think this was the best meal I've had dining out in a long time. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the server was charming, and the food was divine. I had the Brussels sprouts salad with crispy pancetta So good. Hubby had tri colore and our friends split the sweet and spicy fried calamari. For the main, 2 of us had chicken stuffed with pancetta and fontina cheese, served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed black on pasta with shrimp and scallops and spicy marinara. Another guest was delighted with the filleted branzino and roasted vegetables. Just a wonderful meal and happy to have shared it with good friends. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's about 35 minute drive for us but well worth the trip! Can't wait to go back!

Wow - what a hole in the wall gem. So delicious and the staff all so wonderful, almost hate to leave a positive review in fear of it being discovered! The appetizers recommended by the waiter were spot on - stuffed cauliflower flowers and the sweet and spicy calamari -- we were licking our fingers! The pesto that came with the complimentary bread was sweet and so much more interesting and fun than butter / olive oil. My wife asked for a specific entree but "hold" the seafood, they eagerly and happily replaced the shrimp with chicken and it was scumptious. I asked for a recommendation and the suggestion of the black linguine... the sauce for "lick the bottom of the plate" good. And when I saw the option I did not choose - all I could think about was how delicious it looked for next time! To finish it off - 2 flavors of home made gelato. Delightful. And a small cordial of sambuca and coffee beans - yum. It was too cold, but the outdoor seating in the summer looks amazing as well. What a wonderful little family owned gem - 5 stars and we will definitely be going back as soon as we can.

Excellent food and service. The salad with peaches and goat cheese was yummy. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to return in nicer weather to try out the patio.

My friend and I met for a delicious dinner at Focacceria Ristorante. The service was wonderful, and the restaurant was amenable to making dishes off the menu. We were not at all rushed through our meal, which was I was a little worried about after reading some reviews. I would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to visit again soon!

Having dinner wit friends and family is an happening. The time taken with them is precious. Being rush to order and be done with the meal is totally antagonistic. The noise level was unacceptable...

Never had a bad meal here over several years. A truly reliable BYO with delicious Italian fare and outdoor seating in warmer weather. The specials are truly excellent and not wallet shredders. There are vegetarian options in all courses and often among specials (potato leek soup or sweet potato ravioli for example).Indoors seating is tight given it’s an old colonial home serving the restaurant. It’s tight in the vestibule and the stairs but not uncomfortable once you’re seated. The environs are basic, and won’t garner any wows. That job is left to the food. The service is excellent, with very attentive waiters and bus crew. They don’t rush you though, as sometimes attentive staff might tend to do.What gets to you is the noise level. If you have the misfortune of being seated near or next to a loud group, as happened to us yesterday, just enjoy the wine and the (neighbors’) conversation. There’s really no noise mitigation in the dining rooms - acoustic tile, wall coverings, or carpeting (which I know can get icky, so maybe better off without).Even on the outdoor patio, the newly installed speakers can be loud at times, competing with already loud guests.Still a totally worthwhile visit. The food is that good.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options and plenty of choices in all courses.

Focaccaria is consistently good food. I had the fusilli special with sausage and broccoli rabe, it was excellent. My wife had the mustard crusted salmon. It was very good. The tiramisu was very good as well
