Sette is a small, cozy BYOB restaurant in the center of Bernardsville on US 202. The food is VERY high quality. Food is about 15% overpriced so that the owner can make up the margin that is lost due to no alcohol. We ordered the bruschetta which was delightful. We had a lamb loin chops with mashed and spinach (perfect) and the special squash/honey risotto (dinner size) that was INCREDIBLY good. A shared creme Brule dessert was typical. One of the best of the best Italian restaurants. The owner and his staff make you feel like you’re the only customer. The food is out of this world. The service is incredible. You leave there thinking about the next time you’re gonna go.
Executive Chef and Owner Allan is an exceptional host and the cuisines offered are always ultra fresh and delicious! Every visit is an enjoyable culinary experience filled exciting pairings that only a wizard like Allan can produce. The staff is very friendly and professional while the setting is intimate and warm. Sette is a local gem and a must visit when in Bernardsville! 5 stars!!
