“First we heard about it from friends, than we watched the Netflix documentary and later we decided to check it out and we were surprised by been hosted by chef Cristina!! No reservations and no waiting line when we got there on a Sunday for lunch.

“Had the vegetarian calabacitas with a side of the consommé and it was amazing. It was like a beef stew in taco form. 🤤 and the abuelita’s Jamaica was perfectly paired.

Also the chips and salsa are perfectly done.

“Amazing experience at Mabu for New Year's Eve (and my husband's birthday !). We had the four course special menu and every single course was DIVINE. To start was a delicious cauliflower bisque, then I had some glazed carrots, the best coq au vin Ive had in a decade, and finished with a phenomenal creme brulee. My husband had the rack of lamb and said it was so tender and flavorful -he was definitely covertly trying to lick his plate. Ryan, our server was excellent as well. Also, this place was featured in Rocky Balboa and Creed as Adian's Restaurant. This place is definitely worth a visit. Recommend having a reservation.“

I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. “I’m obsessed! Found this bakery on too good to go & took a ride over (from jersey) I came home with 4 different flavors of the banana pudding & my 16 year old and I tried each one. I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! We went with the apple & cheddar baguette with turkey. Delicious. The bread was super crunchy and the mustard was such a nice complement to the apples and meat. Also got the tozzino. Not usually a huge focaccia fan, but this was quite nice and the soppresatta was great. Always going to love burrata and this was done well. Finally, grabbed a tomato bread with cheese which was like a mini pizza and excellent-the crust was delectable.

Grabbed some of the pastries to go, all of which looked amazing. We came at a good point as we were able to snag a table but I can see it being difficult when it gets busy. Line moves quickly and the service is fast.

Would definitely come back. Wish I had tried the soup on the cold day we went so will likely be going with that next time.“

The food was authentic and delicious, the staff as well as the owner are all incredibly friendly, welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of after a slight snafu with our reservation time. We had a fun filled night with unexpected karaoke, mainly lead by the staff who all delivered excellent performances. Corey was very hands on and interacts with all of his guests. “We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.
