I got a burger with fries and onion rings on the side. It came out to $24 overpriced, but that wasn’t the problem for me, I just moved to Blairstown. I’m from Pompton Lakes, this is absolutely the worst food I ever had to eat. I knew it right away when I left the the smell of the food was off I was gagging on the first bite & I was like let me give it a chance absolutely not worst mistake it tasted like blue cheese, the actual meat there was no cheese on it. I’m pretty sure the burger meat was either old or just rancid never again great location for my commute but never again.

I have been coming to this diner for 35 years absolutely love the history behind it and I love that they do the whole Friday the 13th theme there. Staff is always really nice, waitresses are funny and very outgoing and the food is always delicious and you get great portions.

This was the first place I visited in Blairstown. The staff was wonderful to me on my 2 visits. They also have Jason merch and decorations everywhere which I love! The food was so tasty and didn't really need anything extra. I had the fried chicken basket which was a special and some scrambled eggs. The chicken was juicy and crunchy while the breakfast was simple but tasty. I also tried Taylor Ham which is like Canadian bacon but better. I would drive 1.5 hrs from NYC to visit again.

Beware of ordering a meal on a Friday the 13th (and maybe other days too). If you really want to see the inside, order a coffee or a milk shake, and then go somewhere else for food. On a Friday the 13th, they serve from a very limited menu with inflated prices. I ordered the Summer Camp Chicken Sandwich, but that's not what the kitchen gave me. They gave me a beef burger (the server DID write it down correctly on the order slip). I opted to eat it anyway and found it was not thoroughly cooked. According to the menu, the meal was supposed to include coleslaw, but it did not. I don't think this was a mistake. Just false advertising. So $22 for an undercooked burger with "Jason Slicers," which are basically potato chips. My cup of hot tea was $3.50. Though the meal was "finger food," I was not given any napkins. Could have asked for some, but my meal probably would have been cold by the time I got them.
A final warning: they close the indoor restrooms on Friday the 13th and instead have 2 port-a-potties in the parking lot. Given the mobs of tourists, this is somewhat understandable. However, if a Friday the 13th occurs in December, it sure is unpleasant to be using an outdoor toilet. Try unwrapping a new roll of toilet paper in the bitter cold and total darkness at 5PM.
