“Ever walk into a pub in Maine? This is about as close as you will come while still staying in the Garden State. Yeah, it's called the Buck Hill Brewery, but if wine is more to your palette, you can have that, too. The food is prepared to order, and it's delicious. The server/bartender Maryann L is patient, friendly, engaging and efficient. She greets everyone like they are an old friend.

Try a flight of seasonal beers, IPAs or a sampling of lager/pilsner brews. Conveniently located right on Route 94, you should give this place a try the next time you are in the area.

So, let me update this review to again report that we just had another terrific two visits in the last two weeks, and both times were lucky enough to have the amazing Kendalle as our server. The pub competition in the area needs to walk into this place to see how it's done correctly.”

“The food was decent. We got the corned beef sandwich which was ok however the meat was tough. The Asian chicken salad was better but not cool to use shredded lettuce for sandwiches. Otherwise it tasted fine. Overall the portions were rather large but the price a bit steep. 50/50 chance of returning if ever in that area again.”

“We loved the food at the Tom X pub! It was delicious The cons; the bartenders during the day are MIA and the place was dead. Not one occasion, BUT two. And two different bartenders. One bartender forgot numerous items we ordered. Another time, a bartender was doing shots with customers at the bar. It’s a shame because the food is so good, but due to the lack of good service, we probably won’t be back.”

“We all know the prices for meats and eggs etc have sored, but the size of their portions and quality of the food makes it easy to come back again and again. Also, they use Boars Head meets, which are natural and not processed. Nice people to deal with. You won't regret stopping in there.”

“We’ve always been a fan of Humpty’s for their burgers and cheesesteaks. We had our daughter’s grad party and decided to order the food through Humpty Jr’s. The pricing was incredibly affordable and the food was outstanding - everyone raved about it! We were able to cover all dietary needs - vegetarian and gluten free - and we even had guests who have to watch their salt intake that could eat it without any problem. Communication was quick and easy and the food was ready at our designated pick up time. 10/10 - 6 stars and absolutely would recommend!”
