“NYC cuisine outside of the tri state area! My family and I traveled from NYC (Staten Island- land of the restaurants) to the poconos for the weekend. My picky Italian kids wanted pizza etc. I’m so happy we found Boscos in the middle of a terrible snow storm. It’s a beautiful establishment with family history and decor on the walls. The owners and staff were extremely inviting and friendly, not to mention attentive. We ordered plain and mushroom pie, fried Calamari, mozzarella sticks and an eggplant roll. All were delicious, perfectly prepared and reminded us of our food back home. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the mountains.”

“I made a Complaint last week regarding our Dinner on Monday, Well I received a call from the Manager Scott about our complaint and told me he would like us to come back and have a Dinner on him and Shawnee to make Amends, We did go back Wednesday and met Scott, who I think is a Very Good Manager, and we had a Very Good Dinner, I would recommend Shawnee River Room Restaurant to my Family and Friends, come and see the Famous Shawnee Golf and Resort and All it's Beauty , you won't be Disappointed”

“We went there today with our friends the people that work there are very pleasant we were all very happy with our lunches they are very large portions we had a roast beef hero and a Philly cheese steak hero and our friends got Grilled chicken tikka on a pita and chicken over rice platter we will be back recommend this place must try”

“Without question the best food I’ve probably ever eaten. I am writing this review with a full belly and a fulfilled feeling. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The woman whose name I wish I had caught made wonderful recommendations and even had a laugh at my boyfriend with me. (He picked a basic chicken meal) sorry to her husband, but I agree the chili sauce added to our ceviche elevated the taste. Not a single dish was even close to being simply “okay.” Do not sleep on this place. The only downside is that I live 2.5 hours away and was only visiting.”

“We loved the food at the Tom X pub! It was delicious The cons; the bartenders during the day are MIA and the place was dead. Not one occasion, BUT two. And two different bartenders. One bartender forgot numerous items we ordered. Another time, a bartender was doing shots with customers at the bar. It’s a shame because the food is so good, but due to the lack of good service, we probably won’t be back.”
