“A small town deli with a kind staff. The food is pretty good and they always have coffee ready. It's also close to the Route 80 ramps so it's quite convenient.”
“Upon picking up my phone from the pick up window (walk in) the assocate started to call out my order but half way into it just blew it off and said blah blah... Sounded like: "two ham croissants, three... Blah blah" I found that to be disappointing.Food was made correctly and and service was quick.I wish they marked the sandwichs so we didn't need to check.”
“Absolutely lovely business that has given me one of my best experiences with spicy food (order anything past their advertised highest at your own risk!). The staff behind it all is lovely and the passion for what they do and the quality behind their ingredients is so clear that I have nothing but respect. I wholeheartedly recommend! ❤️”
“Love this place! It is BYOB or you can order a bottle of wine. They do not serve by the glass or have any other alcohol. They have a chefs tasting menu in addition to the 3 or 5 course meal. You may have to ask for it, but it's worth it! Food is always phenomenal.”
“This is one of our favorite go to places. The staff is always friendly and attentive. There is usually no wait to be seated. We have many favorites but the pizza is at the top of our list. The crust is soft and there is plenty of cheese. We love the fresh bread and oil to dip it in that they bring when you first sit down. The bolognese sauce is some of the best that we have ever had. Pasta is always cooked perfectly. Some of the best wings as well. Crispy and flavorful. There are always specials on the weekends and they have a large selection of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. The cannoli are great and the mocha cappuccino is a must. We do wish they would bring back their bruschetta. It was delicious!”
“We had a fantastic meal and loved the entertainment! My daughter is celiac and asked us to try this restaurant…. We will be back! Well worth the 50 minute drive to have a gf meal and NOT get sick from cross contamination. Thank you Mama’s Cafe and we will be back soon!”
“Best Italian restaurant ever! The family and food are both amazing! I am a parent of a Centenary University Student and whenever I visit my daughter I come to eat here. The tiramisu and ravioli are as good as anything I’ve had in Italy!!”
“this is good pizza, with the best deal in town (2 slices and a soda for $5) . Also, they went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and i really appreciated that.”
“Visited in Fall for a Wine Tasting Event with a group of friends and we had a great. You can select between Dry or Sweet Wine options, and they handed out a detailed writeup of the Wine offered for the tasting, which was helpful. There was Live Music as well, and plenty of space indoors and outdoors to sit. You are free to bring food from outside to enjoy with your wine. Would definitely recommend.”
“Come up from NC to visit with family and this is one of the must stop places to go for a great breakfast or lunch...the Chef and waitress keep the place hopping...and the added chance of watching a small plane take off or a glider just adds to the atmosphere...You will NOT be disappointed....Enjoy!!”
“First time. Small cafe just a few seats. Had a Malabar Monsoon pourover. It was pretty good. Very nice selection of single origin coffees. Will be back to try the Ugandan coffee when they have it. Like a mercantile shop also. Very friendly staff and great selection of a wide variety of ”
“OK... So we've been been going to Gaza Ramen for a couple of years, so this review is not only my recommendation for their Gop Dol Bi Bim BAP, but also their consistency in quality over the years that I have eaten here.”
“If you give these guys anything less than 5 stars, you are a lier. Their service is amazing, the environment is excellent, location is convenient, and is near the Sweet Bites Delight bakery down on Main Street. Nothing better than grabbing a Tress leches after having a few beers I go here all the time and I can assure you they are one of the bests in the area.”
“The BEST cheese steak sandwiches!!! ... I ACTUALLY get them from here only!!!Parking: Plaza lot parkingKid-friendliness: I see families hereWheelchair accessibility: It is in a strip mall”
“The lady who made my tacos was very friendly and had a great smile. Reasonably priced Mexican and Mediterranean food in small town Portland, PA. I went there for the first time and had a hearty taco (3 tacos) for $17. Reasonably priced and delicious.”
“One of the best in NJ, I don't live in state anymore but when I did my family would always get take out here and it's always been consistently good over the years. Stopped in again for the first time in a couple years, don't take NJ and NY pizza for granted (PA pizza sucks genuinely)”
“In a nutshell, Shawnee Craft is the ultimate spot for a delightful blend of fantastic craft beers, mouthwatering pizzas, friendly staff, and a lively music scene. It's a place where you can truly have it all—great drinks, great food, and great company. So, whether you're a beer enthusiast, a pizza lover, a music aficionado, or just looking for a fantastic time, Shawnee Craft has got you covered. Don't miss out on this hidden gem—it easily scores a perfect 10/10 in my book! ???”
“Our power went out, so we felt like tacos. Shrimp tacos were wonderful. We also had crazy corn and Birrio taco , also very good. We had Tres Leche. Our 1st time here and we will be back.Parking: Easy to park. No meter chg at the time we were here. 6:45 pm”
“Great beer and great people. Trivia night also is a great time. You need to meet the owner Joe one of the nicest people. Plenty of seating, so bring some local takeout and enjoy a good time.”
“A step back in time with the stainless steel and colorful seats. A fun place with an extensive menu. A roadside draw you can't resist. It's fun AND there's BBQ! I've had their smoked wings and they're fantastic but tonight, I went for ice cream. I like ice cream with a higher fat content but this was ok. It still hit. Nearly $4 for their smallest cone. Give it a try at least once.”
“Not a lot of parking, but worth every bite. Great breakfast place. Hot and fresh. Friendly staff. Located next to water.Vegetarian options: Can get vegetarian optionKid-friendliness: High chairs available”
“Hello everyone, it is a pleasure that finally in Hackettstown we have this place where they make the best cakes ? Dominicans I love you, she is in charge of making all my cakes for my children and more family 100 percent ”
“We had a birthday party in ukrainian style. Loved the food, the place was nice and clean. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. We had a great time here with friends and family! Thank ”
“Such a small gem in the middle of nowhere. Belvidere is at West most end of NJ where you can practically walk over the bridge and walk into PA. This is a small quiet town with plenty of places to walk and see. This particular cafe is rarity as its really hard to find a spot that offers so much variety in coffee. The details of where they get their coffee slips my mind, but if you as they will gladly explain. They have all the machinery to process their coffee (which you can sort-of appreciate while waiting for your coffee). I love to order my latte with oat-milk and it's always made to perfection. If you want to try something different, staff is very helpful. What perhaps got me to like the spot even more is their playful way of trying to get people to interact. The atmosphere is super relaxed. Almost gives you that "Downtown NY" vibes. They do offer a points system to loyal customers and accept card and cash payments. (Also, they offer simple pastries to accompany your delicious coffee).”
“We have been getting take out and using them for catering our family events since they have been open. We’ve NEVER had a bad meal. Excellent food made with love!!! We love supporting this family run business.”
“I love this place very friendly owners ,they allow us to stay and eat while it was almost closing hour , perfect dessert with extra ice cream to try,I recommend to everyone who wants to treat their beloved ones ??”
“The clams in wine sauce were so salty it was insane. They hurt mine and my partners tongues. Otherwise the food was good. The teriyaki salmon was amazing!!!! We also had their winterberry sangria which tastes exactly how you think it would--the mulled cider was the standout of that drink. The pub is very small town Irish pub style. It was cute.”
“I give Roman Pizza four stars, not for the pizza, but for the welcoming service and how I was greeted when I visited this location for the first time. The location has a sitting area with several tables and has an array of items on their menu at Avery reasonable cost. The daily special is two slices and a can of coke for $5.99! The pizza slice had a good dough and made thin and crispy which are its highlight. There is plenty of cheese, however the slice did not have much flavor. It was lacking a bit of salt and spices such as oregano. Overall Roman Pizza is a good pizza location to visit when in the area that offers good food at a very reasonable price.”
“I was told they had the best wings in town and while I don't have another place to compare them too, they were pretty good wings. My family and I devoured the 4 different flavors that we got. It's definitely a locals pub but I did not feel unwelcome there. The lady behind the bar was kind and let me know what their hours and specials were. For sure come back again to try the other wing flavors”
“So, I know this is a pizza place - shout out to the pizza. But, also THE BEST CHICKEN FINGERS EVERR!!! Not your run-of-the-mill bagged frozen tenders, these are HAND BREADED, FRESH chicken fingers. Grab them with some honey mustard... Amazingggg.”
