“We were visiting from out of town. We had savory and sweet crepes and they were both delicious. The lemonade and coffees were good too. The owner/chef is great at what he does and the people working for him were all friendly and kind. I would go back anytime I was on the east coast!”

“Really great restaurant in the downtown area. Parking was easy and right across the street. The building is historic and features Art deco design and original booths, bar and fixtures.

The food is all made to order. I’ve only been there one time so far so I have not experienced that many items on the menu. The service is to order as well Our server spent a lot of time helping us decide on our dinner. The food was excellent. We will be back.”

“We researched every possible venue in northwest NJ for our 30th high school reunion and could not have picked a better place! The private outdoor location overlooking the vineyards along with a large beautiful indoor space checked all the boxes. The event staff was warm, accommodating, and knowledgeable about all that was needed. We worried about nothing since they took care of EVERYTHING. Also, the price?? This is the best kept secret. They really could charge double per person and it would be well worth it. Food was abundant and delicious, and they catered to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. The costs per person were less than other places (without the beautiful atmosphere) AND you supply your own desserts as well as liquor so the bar costs are much lower with just the in house wines. Location was also ideal for those traveling since it's right off of route 80 at the NJ/PA border. Without hesitation, we know we will book again for our 40th!”

“I love this place the bagels are awesome the hoagies are great. But beware if you just buy bagels and want the cream cheese on the side. I ordered two bagels with garden vegetable cream cheese on the side I got a small container of cream cheese for $8.47 which is a ridiculous price. How can you justify $13 for two bagels and a small container of cream cheese.”

“YUM! Cafe 57 never fails to disappoint. Generous portions, unique ideas… they have it all. Today we grabbed a chopped Italian sub, Greek gyro, grilled cheese and fries, and chocolate pie (or chocolate mousse, something like that). Wow. We were more than pleased with everything and I was especially impressed with the chopped Italian and dessert. Holy moly!!! This is THE spot!”
