Hidden gem Cafe with lots of tasty and original treats (Cruffin anyone? ), very hip and cozy atmosphere and not to mention delicious coffee, tea and espresso drinks (hot and cold). This place makes this Bloomfieldite/ian proud. Service is very friendly, accommodating and speedy.

I love the seating area. It has some cute decorations and is quite large for NJ. The coffee is also really delicious and the people working here are super nice. A great cafe overall.

I was a patron of Skidoo Cafe for a few years. I enjoyed the coffee for the most part, but ultimately I stopped coming after an incident with the owner and another patron.

The owner made a man move from table to table in their seating area for unknown reasons as the cafe was nearly empty and not busy. At first it was because of his laptop and then it was because he was sitting at too big of a table. It felt frustrating to see a white man move around a black man, who was obliging to the strange requests, for no reason. It was an odd situation, and I can't discredit the owner's actions by simply saying it was just him having a bad day. He made me and the person who I was with very uncomfortable, and most importantly bothered a man from enjoying an empty space!

edit: I see there are many reviews on the table policing. Though I am glad it doesn't seem to be racially charged, it was still very uncomfortable to watch.

Here from out of town and the whole team made me feel like part of the neighborhood. Looking forward to more trips to the shop!

I stopped by this coffee shop in the evening and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The lighting is warm and soft, making it feel cozy at night. I ordered a chai latte and it was perfectly spiced and creamy. The staff was friendly and happy to chat, even though it was close to closing time. The atmosphere was calm, with people quietly reading or working on laptops. It’s a great alternative to going out to a bar when you just want to relax. The pastry case was still full of fresh options, which I really appreciated. The shop was clean and well-organized, even at the end of the day. Everything about the experience felt welcoming and unhurried. I’ll definitely be back for another evening coffee soon.

We used to go there on a regular basis, but when the owner is not there, quality drops. We returned our coffees and were never offered a refund and were told we are not welcome there.
We no longer go there.
Owner doesn't care.
Go to Paneras.

Lovey cafe with great coffee, fantastic pastries, and the best Arnold Palmer I’ve ever had. Friendly staff & owners, nice atmosphere, and plenty of seating indoors and out. Definitely recommended!

What a fantastic Friday morning! The cold brew coffee is incredible, and the complimentary books add a delightful touch. The space is spacious yet intimate, offering a cozy feel akin to sitting by a winter fireplace. 10/10! 10

I don’t usually post. I used to LOVE this place and have gone many times in the last couple years. They have amazing coffee and the vibe is nice.

Unfortunately the table policing has gotten really weird the last couple of times I’ve tried to work there! I went in and sat at a table marked for 2 people. The owner asked me to move to a 1 person area. I told him I had a friend coming to join me too which I did. He said ok and I set my work stuff up and started drinking my matcha.

Then he came back a couple minutes later and asked me when my friend was arriving?! She was in a meeting and I had no idea when she would be free to walk over to join me. He asked me to move my stuff to single table even though there were two empty double tables! He wanted me to move my stuff and then I guess move it back to a two person when she arrived?

I understand if it’s really busy. It wasn’t (two empty tables) and it’s just weird interrogation energy to put on your customers. It felt like I was intruding on the space and not trusted to be telling the truth about how many people I would be getting coffee with. Not sure what to make of it but bummed because I really loved this place.
