By the way this little plate cost me over $32! I've eaten at a lot of sushi places and went here as a recommendation because I'm new to the area. I would not recommend the sushi from this place as it is very subpar even inedible while being expensive for what you get. The Second picture, that piece of sushi I had to spit out. It tasted like a dirty sock. However, I do believe it was the orange fish eggs because the other pieces were fine. But yeah, I'm not that picky but I've had way better sushi. I never had to spit food out before. It was bad.

Authentic taste. The hot tea is excellent, and, the vegetarian options are plentiful.
Vegetarian options: The menu offers a lot of options for vegetarians in rolls with avocado, cucumber, mango, and others. Also, the noodles soup with veggies is of very generous quantity. The broth in the bowl is very flavorful. The bottomless hot tea is great!

Had a truly excellent experience here last night. Our service Tina was particularly wonderful. We were not an easy table. My table mates were having difficulty in making decisions and in miscommunicating their preferences. She handled everything with such professionalism and courtesy. The steak teriyaki is delicious! Sushi is very good and fresh! Everything was amazing and tasted great!
The staff was very friendly and sushi was fresh. Very nice arrangement of different rolls and sashimi. The restaurant allows you to B.Y.O.B, and there is a liquor store next door.

I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but she did not apologize at all. I don't think her attitude is good. We had the lunch box and the teriyaki chicken was tasteless and not good. It makes you full, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

I've been ordering from Aki regularly for five years. The food is consistent, consistently excellent, fresh and customized to my liking. They have taken good care of me. Although we had a small delivery procedure issue only because of my apt building, and I wasn't smooth, not fair or cool, we worked everything out beyond request or expectation to my 150 percent satisfaction. Thank you to Jenny, rhe owner and team. It's great, consistently on-point, and I highly recommend them. It's been a positive experience!
