We are a Cuban family and very critical of most Cuban cuisine, BUT LET ME TELL YOU how AMAZING Bodeguita’s food is! We ordered a traditional Noche Buena meal from them and my family couldn’t stop eating and talking about how delicious the food was. The pernil was great and the Moro (congri) was my favorite and reminded me of my aunt’s recipe. For dessert, we had the flan and tres leche and it was yet again a crowd pleaser. Gracias Bodeguita for making it a memorable Christmas Eve. We will be ordering again and again and again. Compliment to the Chefs! ????????

What the store lacks in presentation it makes up for in quality of food.Best cuban sandwich I have had so far, if they made the pickles deli thin sliced, it would be the perfect cuban sandwich in all of NJ. Amazing amount of mustard, cheese and juicy pernil that honestly blew me away. The pollo gizado was so soft, juicy and flavorful, it complimented the soft black rice perfectly, along with the freshly cooked tostones that were crunchy yet soft enough to eat (perfect balance of textures). I cannot WAIT to go back and have some more meals there.
Cuban sandwiches are phenomenal and the empanadas well stuffed but were out of some family owned and runned ...very friendly.....small gem in the corner .....food was good very filling ....highly recommend
