There was a big hype about one item in particular (The Big Cheese) which is the 1lb of mozzarella stick! It was all over the media and my little sister wanted to go so badly so we finally did on 1/20. Ambience was cool, a lot of people. We were seated by the door and we had to ask to be moved, the doors opening and closing was too cold for us ladies. Let's start with the best part, we absolutely loved the hand cut chips with the truffle mayo dip and the mushroom pie! Delicious! Straight up 10/10!! Now to the The big cheese, all of us 6 ladies unanimously voted 4/10 as there was not flavor on the over coating! The mozzarella is good but the breading and even the marinara that it came with was not tasty. The drink menu had some cute cocktails but I was turned down 2 of the ones I wanted to try because they said “they ran out”. Hmmm anywho I think we would try to come back again but this time during Brunch as the brunch menu looks and sounds better than the dinner.

My coffee was cool, my cousin's tea was cool so we asked for hot beverages it took them 20mins to bring new beverages and we had to complain again. The food was great but we waited over 1 hour to receive an our food and 30 mins to get our drinks. I was beyond annoyed and no it wasn't busy but they did have 2 other large parties there and that's it. There wasn't any walkins the staff just dragged their feet. Also the check was wrong when we finally received it after waiting 20 mins and asking multiple times. We will not be returning.

We had a party of six and everyone was happy with the food. The only downside was that the service was lacking. The waitress made it obvious she just wanted to go home. She was very nice, but asked if we wanted anything else multiple times (including before we had ordered the main courses) and we had a hard time getting her attention when we wanted more drinks.
Excellent food in a lovely setting. The service was not the best. Staff were unfriendly, and we had to repeatedly inquire what we needed on a day that was not particularly busy (we arrived at 11:30 when they opened).
Very nice bar, restaurant, nice decor,, great service and the food was very good. I went out for the first time on Christmas and was pleasantly surprised how good this place was, will return!
Although the food was initially great (we had the big cheese and a kale salad) halfway through the meal I found 3 hairs in the salad. This was brought to the attention of the waiter who apologized and took the salad off of the bill. I found it surprising that a manager did not come to the table.

Service was extremely slow to the point we asked other servers to assist. We started with the chicken wings, had to send them back very rubbery and under cooked. Friend ordered shrimp and grits which were cold. Although the waitress was nice just not attentive to our table.

The menu looked exciting - we had a hard time narrowing down our options. We ended up ordering 5 dishes between apps and entrees and each one was lacking flavor. Did not leave us wanting more with any dish. Overall underwhelming.

The service and food were outstanding.....Naomi was our server and was the epitome of classy service....the food was quite pricey and might limit the times I would return to eat at The Brookdale.....
We went for a last minute Thanksgiving lunch. We were able to book it online at the time we wanted. The staff is friendly and efficient. The Turkey meal was fantastic. Everything was favorable and just delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal and day.

Our plans changed on thanksgiving and we were only able to stay for a drink and head off to a family gathering. The server was very kind and understanding. Everyone working was super nice and we were able to thank the server with a nice thanksgiving tip for taking time out on a table that didn't eat anything.

The server was sweaty, disheveled, and out of breath. He had no table side manner other than frantic, rushed and disorganized. The Bullet old fashion was watery and also flavorless. The shishito peppers were dripping with oil. The chicken parm was dry, tough and over cooked while the broccoli while seasoned was burnt and again flavorless, dripping with oil. The salmon over quinoa was lovely tho.

Very poor service for the price! The waitress can be described as the following: lights on but nobody home! The room off to the side where we were seated was extremely hot, I asked the waitress to lower the heat if possible and nothing. It wasn't until I spoke with the hostess when it finally started to cool down. The waitress barely spoke, cleared our table WITHOUT excusing herself, did not refill drinks on her own, did not ask how the food or our experience was throughout. When I asked her for two birthday cakes, the kitchen staff brought it and threw it in the middle of the table. By the time we placed it in front of the two birthday people and got our phones out to record the sparklers were already out! We had to request for a second set. The drinks were WEAK and super bland, tasted mostly like seltzer. We had to constantly take utensils from other tables because our table was not bussed. We had piles of plates on our table still when the cake came out. Completely unacceptable! The music was absolutely awful and not current at all! I will never go back and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone!

We waited 10 minutes before being offered water then waited another 20 order. then waited 25 to place a dessert order. Opted to just pay the tab instead and waited another 15 for that. & it wasn't busy at all
