I love this place. I have been grabbing breakfast from here for over 5 years but as time goes by they care less and less about the customer service aspect of things.

I’ve never seen something like this before. There’s like 6 or 7 of us waiting to be attended and the employee is busy having a full blown phone conversation out of a Bluetooth earpiece. They are so busy with their phone conversation that there is no good morning, how are you, how can I help you.

I asked for 2 bagels, I only received 1. Why? Because they barely could hear what I asked for because someone else is talking to them from their earpiece. They rang me up, told me the price and continue chatting away. Terrible service. No one should be on their phones while serving others at a restaurant. It’s rude.

Do not ever accept food prepared by anyone who is in a bad mood or have attitude. Today was my first time here, the matured gentleman on the grill has a horrible demeanor, not friendly, not polite. Ordered a Hungryman breakfast $9.99, 2 omelette specials $8.99 each and 2 croissants with home fries but was charged $48. Won’t be returning.

This is a nice bagel shop. Ive never gotten a stale bagel so I dont know what that guy was talking about. Great staff.

I’ve been here twice to give it a chance the first time the bagels were stale but my friends breakfast sandwich was okay (on a roll) went there again to make sure it wasn’t an off day but bagels were stale again. Nope, not it.

Cambridge Bagel is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Bloomfield, NJ. I have now ordered here multiple times, and have had the same great quality food across the board. The prices are very very reasonable, and is conveniently located on the way to the train station if you commute. There is plenty of room to sit down or to take your order to go and it has always been clean and tidy inside when I have gone. I recommend this place to friends typically.

Food was great, made right in front of you and very reasonably priced for the portion size and quality. The man working there was personable and clearly put lots of care into the food he was making and made sure each customer was happy. I can't wait to go back!

Grew up in Montclair/Bloomfield area (so much so I used to call it ‘Mike’s’ and it’s sad to see how much this place fell off. Older woman working the grilled literally groaned out loud when I asked her for egg whites and then complained when I asked to have the bagel toasted in the toaster instead of on the grill.Mind you it’s completely empty in here besides me. ?

Bagels small and hard with burnt toppings, sandwiches made with 1 sad egg, and the place smells funny. 2 stars for friendly service and delicious vegetable cream cheese.
