This place lost it touch, please get back the original cook, I bought brown stew chicken with rice and beans and the chicken seems like it was cooked from days ago and it has no taste, the chicken was so hard and dry and the rice has no flavor to it, this was on the 9/16/25 at dinner time, the food was not fresh, they always cooked well but something went wrong, please hire back the original chef.

Great place to buy food if you are in the mood for oxtail, etc. The best time to go is after 4pm. There rice is very good, nothing on the menu can go wrong unless you do not enjoy eating Jamaican dishes.

Dev's Jamaican Cuisine is superb! There is so much flavor and a variety of delicious choices. My favorite is the garlic pasta with shrimp. Each bite has so much flavor. I also love the jerk chicken and carrot cake. I have heard great things about the curry goat as well.

Had the oxtails that were good but I've had better. Jerk chicken was tasty. Sides of rice, cole slaw and plantains were filling. They were getting ready to close.

Not bad at all, but not memorable, either. The food had a homemade feel to it, so that's a plus.

I truly love this place! Recommend to me by a friend and I have been going non stop ever since. Such great customer service. I came in 30 minutes to close and my food was made ready to order very fresh. The oxtails are very tender and not fatty which I love because a lot of places just give you the fat! The rice a peas has a sweet undertone but it’s very good and the gravy has the perfect amount of pepper and spice. Highly Highly Highlyyyyyyyyyyy recommend!

I don’t know where to begin with this place. They are supposed to open at 11 am. We went as a last minuet option. I got there at 11 and there was a sign on the door that said sorry were closed come back later. There were also no lights on for you to know they were open. So I went back to the car and called, the lady answered and said yes we are open. I went in the place had a not so pleasant smell. The place looks run down as well. The owner who took the order wasn’t that friendly and behaved as if she didn’t want to be bothered. I ordered 2 large jerk chicken with cabbage and plantains and a small jerk chicken with plantain. She took something out the fridge and went back to the kitchen and put it in the microwave and came back 5 minuets later with the food. Mind you she opens shop at 11 and that was the time I came in to pace my order. The food isn’t fresh or tasteful. We got home and the chicken was dry and tasteless, wasn’t spicy or flavorful at all. How do you serve someone reheated food? I will definitely not be back to this establishment. Food was horrendous.
