Absolutely amazing experience and the best food I’ve had in awhile! We went here for Valentine’s Day and everything was phenomenal from the service, apps, food, and drinks. Not crazy expensive either so you get a lot for your money! Would totally recommend, we will definitely be coming back.

This place is very cool looking on inside, I was surprised. And then the food! Top notch! Their vodka sauce is absolutely my favorite of all the local Italian restaurants. The meatball side were great. I tried my gfs meat sauce and that was awesome too! We’ve been back a couple of times now and never had a bad meal!

This was my second time going to Fanny’s restaurant in Bloomfield, New Jersey. First time I went with nine friends and this time I took my family and four of our daughter’s girlfriends along with my son. It was another incredible experience. As my daughter stated, it was a 10 out of 10! This little gem in Bloomfield, New Jersey is definitely a place I highly recommend! From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, everything was spectacular!! The owner, Joey Cinque can’t do enough for you to make you feel as though you’re at home, instead of a restaurant. When you have 7 teenagers still talking about the food the next morning, you know it has to be a great place!!

Pleasantly surprised and forgot how much of a Bloomfield gem this place is. A delicious gem. The food was exceptional, packed with flavor, good portions, and original. Think Italian comfort food meets modern. Not to mention the pasta is house made and the prices are very reasonable. Cocktails too! I recommend the Expresso Martini or Never Take Sides. The wait staff was speedy, welcoming and friendly. A lost art these days.
The chicken parm and pasta side were flooded in vodka. Delicious and highly recommend.

One of our favorite restaurants in the area, and that’s including Montclair. The atmosphere is elevated, modern, and has a beautiful ambiance. Something you might come across in the city. I’ve had the Chicken parm here several times and it never disappoints. Great red sauce, generous portion, and reasonably priced. My friends had the bronzino and chicken milanese which they both loved, and they are food critics! The staff is always friendly and attentive. We feel lucky to have such a gem in our neighborhood. Also be sure to try the amazing pastries and desserts from their sister bakery at Lady Fingers!
A real hidden gem. Best pork chop I’ve ever had. Fresh high quality ingredients and perfect balance of flavors. Appreciate that the owner came round and had a chat with us. Will definitely come back.

Wow huge disappointment. Been here several times before and everything was great. Specifically went back Sunday night forr my BD dinner. I was craving their eggplant parm whic last time was amazing. What happened here! The egglant was mire like a dried out reheated leftover flavorless casserole with NO SAUCE and NO MOZZERELLA. The top was plain the inside had dried out unflavored ricotta with tiny pcs of tomato bits. Horrible. My guys cod was a lackluster dish lacking presentation as well as any seasoning. A few sad stalks of broccoli were on the plate which he said tasted weird. He ordered a side of spaghetti with oil and garlic. What an insult. There was what appeared to be reheated spaghetti with NO oil and no garlic-not even a flavor of garlic or even cheese. Just reheated dried up pasta which previously had some butter but now was dry and tasteless. Ugh! I also ordered an app- they advertised as clams oreganato. $20.00. The clams in shell had no juice no flavor and dried out flavorless-except they were-and tasted burnt-dried up bread crumbs on top, which I pushed off and just ate the tasteless clam. When I finally got to the last insulting disg-the eggplant-I sent it back. Never saw or heard from the chef although there was only one other couple in the entire place all the time we were there. I seriously doubt there was one and that everything was reheated and not even good to begin with... Fannys-you are -or were better than this so not sure what happened here. I feel bad to leave this review but everything I said is true and if anything it was worse than I've described. I really just want to warn future customers maybe don't go on a Sunday. And to also alert management of this very poor experience that should never have happened. On the bright side the staff was great as was the young manager who was on that night. I regret not taking pics then you could really understand. I kid you not!
Phenomenal experience! We loved the Whipped Ricotta—so creamy and delicious—and the perfectly breaded Calamari. The Eggplant Parm and pork chop entrees were outstanding. Even our daughter’s spaghetti Alfredo was fresh and homemade. This place is a must-try!

The food was AMAZING and so fresh but the service … We visiting this location twice and both times the food was delicious. The pasta was fresh and the meat was tender. The inside of the restaurant is lux, dark, and aesthetic. But, we couldn’t decide what to order. I was debating between the salmon and chicken, I asked the waitress which she preferred and she said “it depends on what you’re in the mood for”…. That and she did not come to our table. She also didn’t know the menu and was unable to answer our questions. Other than the service, the owner/chef, food, and atmosphere was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. There is also a bakery attached,
