I honestly don’t know what that the previous 1 star review was about. I’m here at Havana’s Restaurant with my parents, sister, and brother-in-law, and we can’t stop talking about how incredible this meal is.
I’m Puerto Rican, and this food tastes like home. The mofongo is one of the best I’ve ever had. The rice tastes like your grandma made it, the beans are perfectly seasoned, and the alcapurrias flavor on point.
What surprises me most is that the place is empty it deserves to be packed. This restaurant is a hidden gem, and I haven’t had a meal this good in a long time. Highly recommend! No photos of food because we could not stop enjoying it lol but we did take home so lechon mofongo and maduros home.

Overpriced!! 1 empanada, 1 alcapurria, 1 malt= $10.70 and the alcapurria not well cooked, mashed green banana still raw inside. 😡

Coming from a very cultured Cuban person, this was one of the worst Cuban sandwiches I have ever tried. I specifically & respectfully requested extra mojo on the bread (see photo) It seems they decided to do the opposite and not add ANY at all. The sandwich was extremely dry & bland tasting and the sliced meats were not fresh. The guava & cheese empanada was the side of a human thumb like it's food for a 5 year old. Come on guys, this was pathetic. Put some effort in the preparation or get out of the game. Never again mi gente!

I have been coming here on the regular basis for the past 10 years if not longer.
The place feels like grandmas home. The food is always consistent in flavor and it is delicious. Mostly of the times we eat the roasted chicken with white rice, black beans and plantains. I also bring extra home for next day kids school and they love it.
We also had have other options from the buffet like ribs, shared beef, fried fish and order from the kitchen the cubano sandwich.
They were all very good but the roasted chicken has always been the winner.
Thank you guys for making such delicious food and for keeping the same recipes.
❤️Yes! I would absolutely recommend and bring friends to como here with me.
A what one may call a hole in the wall, but the food was very Very good. Was very disappointed that I ordered a order of plantains deep fried, supposed to be ripe and sweet. All that's great but I only got 4 little bites. I was so disappointed with their portions. The food was spiced very well and cooked good. The employees were pretty helpful and did what they needed to help me. I would go back.. Oh the dessert was fire. The pudding with Carmel sauce. 😋

Bad customer service. The lady was annoyed that we were eating there. Go to the place across the street.

The Oxtail plate with the rice and beans was delicious. Price is reasonable. We also tried the Ropa Vieja, this was pretty good and tasty too- It just needed more sauce. The Plantains were hard.

Good food, was served meat filled empanadas that were still refrigerator cold but they made up bringing fresh hot ones. Overall ok, but not memorable. The interior definitely needs to be updated. About 20 per plate.
