Originally from NYC... find myself so fortunate to have found an Italian Deli thats just as good (maybe better ?) than the delis I grew up with in Queens NY. Try the Italian Sub or the Johns special sub - freaking awesome!!!... thank me later!!

A little skimpy on meats & add ons. Prices a little higher than I expected. Staff is pleasant. Parking can be a nightmare

Walked over from my son’s house while I was in town visiting. I had a turkey, avocado and bacon wrap that was excellent. Went back the next morning for a Taylor ham, egg & cheese. Super friendly people and clearly very popular with the locals. I’ll come back every time I visit.

Four of us ordered sandwiches and three of us were more than disappointed. You would expect an Italian deli to have good procuitto but it was HORRIBLE. It smells bad and tastes even worse totally inedible. My Turkey & Avocado BLT (as well as my coworker) should leave out the word avocado because this was the amount of avocado on these sandwiches.Inexpensive food, i guess you get what you pay for.Very disappointed will need to travel a little further next time for lunch while we work locally.

Little to no mozz on my sandwich. Might as well not have gotten any mozzarella. Also the prosciutto looks absolutely disgusting. Drive a few extra miles and go to Colmants for a real sub. Never coming here again.
Johns is the beat! Great food, wonderful staff. I have used them for parties and for lunch. John is amazing!

A lovely spot John's Deli in Bloomfield, NJ, is a true hidden gem that deserves recognition. The combination of authentic flavors, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit for any food lover. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and indulge in the culinary delights that John's Deli has to offer. I even order soup from here when my children are sick. You won't be disappointed. Also, I would highly suggest this place for any catering services.
