So, they deliver to Montclair! Woo hoo! Typical, tasty Chineese that doesn't really exist in Montclair. I guess Wah Chung is pretty good, but they don't deliver. My daughter's favorite is chicken and broccoli. FROM HERE. Everywhere else, she thinks it is "not as good." Sweet and sour chicken is perfect, and I love their eggplant in garlic sauce. GREAT bang for the buck!

Though I live in Manhattan, had to work in NJ because of the pandemic. My producing partner recommended me this place, which is a walk and a half away. Lou and his family serve up really good and inexpensive Chinese food and its nice to have comfort food close by. Love this place and thanx for feeding us during a difficult time!!

There was an issue with my initial order and the owner reached out personally and professionally to resolve the issue in a very fast and redeeming manner. After correction, most of the food was very good although the crab Rangoon were nearly empty
Before Covid 19 are used to order them every weekend. Then After they open back up I didn't think that they would deliver to my house so I called them. Because they recognize my address and who I was they made an exception which I think is exemplary customer service. When I did get the food it was as if they never closed.

Almost 7 years since I wrote my previous review, Lucky Star is still the best around! I'll be moving away from the Montclair/Bloomfield area, and will miss this place dearly. General Tso's is on point, Wonton Egg Drop Soup is my go-to, and honestly tried a good chunk of the menu it's all very good, don't let these people with no taste buds bring you down.

Consistently delicious food and a kind manager always recognizes me and notifies me if my favorite dish is available or not that day with accomodations. They could do better with their image or seating atmosphere but the family is certainly very welcoming.

Bland food but the christian b******* fortune cookies ruined my night and my order. Not everyone is into your god. This is intrusive, rude and annoying. F*** you. Dried string beans are frozen, for almost $9. What a joke. They were soggy and gross. Never again. I remember how roachy that place was when the bar was next door, with the stinking dumpsters in your alley I doubt much has changed. Keep religion out of your f****** food. There are other people in the world with other beliefs.
