I NEVER give bad reviews but this sushi and sashimi was old , half frozen and not edible. Some pieces literally looked like health hazard if you eat them. Never again .

The service was very good, but the food (the chicken teriyaki more specifically) lacked a depth of flavor, had an aftertaste, and the onions were on the verge of going bad, They were way too strong and not edible in my opinion. I advised the server that I did not care for the meal. She did ask if I wanted anything else to replace it, but she was a bit hesitant to do so at first. I opted for a california roll, and it was mostly cucumber. The crab was tiny. There was no carrot, which I normally see in other California rolls, and it was very bland even with the soy sauce on top. I was not about to return that as well, so I just finished it and paid for my meal. I was very disappointed.
They have great fresh sushi. Recommend to try tiger

I've been coming to this spot since before it became the wonderful sushi powerhouse it is today (think it used to be called "Kira Kira" over a decade ago ?). This restaurant easily has the freshest & tastiest sashimi in the Northern NJ area. Their sushi roll selection is excellent as well with numerous novel combinations that aren't just remixes of plain rolls. Not overpriced and easy to get to, you'd be missing out if you didn't give this place a try. A++ ?????

Going to just review the ramen this time. They are taking to go orders for their ramen business which is in the same block just across the street that will open soon for dine in. I ordered the Momoya ramen with the chicken broth and it's very yummy ?. All the ingredients that was in the ramen was very good ( just would have liked the egg a bit less done, only thing). The broth is flavorful. So glad that there is one closer.Parking: Parking available on the street and back parking municipal lot.
Our favorite go-to for sushi. Louise is a master at his craft. Always welcomes customers in Momoya with a warm smile behind the sushi bar before serving them delicious meals.

I order from this spot frequently and it’s hit or miss. The flavors are there but the last few orders I’ve received have had super small almost burnt pieces of pork chashu. It’s supposed to come with 3 pieces but the pieces are barely the size of half of my thumb. If I added all 3 pieces up it would equal one regular piece. If you wanna send little bits and pieces, send extra, so it actually equates to three pieces.
