This used to be my go-to for siopao, but the quality has declined lately. I tasted crunchy eggshells in the bread of the siopao I recently purchased. I thought it was a fluke, but I tried another siopao and tasted the crunchy eggshells again. Also, the pork asado filling had a chemical taste like rancid oil. They sell the siopao in unmarked plastic bags with no label or date whatsoever, so you never know if you're buying an item that was made today or yesterday or many days ago. Unfortunately, I will have to stop purchasing siopao from here altogether.

My rating is 0. They sold me this pack of burnt pandesal. When I complained, she said they are not burnt. My mistake was, I did not look inside. I still bought them. When I got home, I opened the pack, and everything is burnt. Very very brown top. Tasted one bun, very bitter to the taste. I am a Filipino and I know pandesal. Never ever going to step foot in this bakery ever again. I have a photo to back this up. Since there is no 0 rating, I am forced to check 1 star. Not deserving at all .

I thought I’d buy fresh hopia from a bakery, so I went to this place instead of buying at Asian grocery nearby. But , I was so disappointed. Hopia taste stale and very dry though the label expires 12/14.

Very local, family friendly bakery. Standard pastry and bake goods. Really brings me back to childhood when my mom used to get them for me if we're running late for class. definitely would recommend, the owner Sam, very nice person- great personality.

Very average Asian baked goods. Didn't taste super fresh but we did like the ube rolls.

Very mediocre baked goods. The Hopia's are subpar. They are hard, and they fall apart after just one day.

Great place! Enjoy it every time! Coming from another Nutley store owner Myra's is a wonderful place!

Something about the taste of the bread, I think there is too much leavening thus there is more bitterness in their bread.

Unfortunately limited selection and quality. $10 CC minimum. I won't be back. If you want asian baked goods, go on into the city.

Hot pandesal. Garlicky, tasty chicken empanadas with thin dough , unlike other empanadas that are mostly crust with little filling. Pork siopao.

Stale and dry food. Don't bother buying from here. I'd give it a negative if I could.

This place is usually a place I stop by after having my Vietnamese food in the shopping plaza they share. Always a friendly face to greet you. And if you are lucky you can smell a fresh batch of pan de sal coming out of the oven. I usually grab one of their matcha sponge cake (that's just what I call it!). I have no clue if it is even matcha, but it's delicious. One time I came in and they had a whole roast suckling pig out. It looked super crispy and made the entire store smell incredible. If you are in the area they are definitely worth checking out. There are many other things worth checking out. Just go and pick a few things at random. ENJOY!!!

Bought it for my family because my parents and Lola were missing home. They didn't enjoy and everything was either stale or flavorless. Not their favorite. Disappointed.

I love this spot. It’s my go-to for pork buns. I also got a bag of fresh warm rolls and they are amazing.
