I ordered off Uber eats around 8pm the jerk chicken was delicious , I wish I could say the same for the Mac and cheese . The Mac was very bland and dry , and the rice tasted old as I kept chewing hard pieces . The oxtail was also good but very small pieces should be lowered in price felt like robbery with the meat on those bones .

For the fact my order was not complete I was very disappointed I ordered large curried goat white rice,I did not get any plantain in this order,fish and festival did not taste good either did not get any plantains in this order and the potato pudding I ordered was not very tasty

I spent $67 for 3 dinners; 2 oxtail and 1 curry chicken. Got my food home for my family to discover the oxtail dinners only had 5 tiny oxtail in it. Like wth!? They couldve spared the rice and veggies too. The flavors were not terrific either. I do not recommend this establishment unless you like paying big dollars for very small portions. Sunsplash on Main St. in Orange gives your a ton of delicious food for your money worth. Tropics is a rip off.Parking: On street parking only if you can find a spot on Bloomfield Ave.

Ordered three items from this restaurant for delivery to try it out, and two of them (mac and cheese & chicken soup) were not even in the bag when delivered 90 minutes later! Additionally, I strongly recommend against ordering the large ackee & saltfish as you only get a tiny bit of it (about 1 cup) in one of the side dish compartments of the plastic container, one plantain cut in half in the other, and where the main dish should have been were a boiled potato and banana and three huge, rock hard dumplings! Ridiculous and clearly not worth $24.50! Never ordering from here ever again!
