We went on a Friday night. It was quiet. Seemed like mostly family dining. Definitely feels like a nice family owned, neighborhood restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer and for our entrees we had the churrasco and fried pork chop. The chimichurri sauce that came with the steak was so good I could probably drink it! I thought the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Will definitely be back!

The food, service and atmosphere is a solid 4 !! We enjoyed the fish, cazuela and croquettes and didn’t have one complaint ? definitely worth the visit… we will return to try other typical dishes ! Enjoy !!

First time in Bloomfield and stumbled upon this gem. Food was absolutely amazing!! We had the croquetas, quibbe, sancocho, eggplant dish, and flan de coco. Portions were very generous and the service was great. Glad we met the chef at the end of the meal and were able to thank him for the delicious dishes we enjoyed.

The food was delicious. My son said the Cuban sandwich was the best he ate in a long time, we loved the beef stew, Sancocho, it also looked so appetizing, enjoyed the Croqueta de Bacalao tremendous. Also we loved the atmosphere. Will be back for sure.

What a hidden gem. I found some authentic Caribbean food so close to home. They need to working on there advertising. Do think anyone knows they are there.

Had a pleasant experience supporting a Latino (Dominican) own restaurant in Bloomfield. The food was good, the service was great, the price is better- affordable. Will definitely return.

First time eating here and I must say everything we ordered was delicious. The food was perfectly seasoned, meat was moist, not dry. I definitely do recommend Tenares. Ambience is very laid back and the establishment is clean and spacious.

The food here is absolutely wonderful. I love Latin food but this takes it NEXT LEVEL! The oxtail, chicharrones, and the amazing HUGE fish that I got all had SO much flavor. Well worth the money!!! Hope this place stays here for many years to come! It’s also BYOB!

We came back today for our second time, because we wanted to try the sancocho. It was amazing!!I try the Cuban sandwich, soooooo good ??. The coconut flan was my happy ending ??
