I live in town and always liked The Brookdale. I had not been there in a while. The premio egg rolls have become much smaller. Out of the list of beers they only had 3. 3 of us ordered the burger and only one came out with everything on it. The other 2 had to ask for the onions after their food came out. The bathrooms were dirty. I was disappointed as I really like this restaurant.
This was our first visit, which has established The Brookdale as our northern destination when meeting up with our friend. The menu had plenty of choices for every palate. Our selections included: The Big Sexy (50/50 ground bacon & beef), Tuna Tacos, Chicken Wings and a Taco Salad with Chicken. Our reservation was for 11:30am, when the restaurant first opened. Since we arrived early, we went next door to the Lady Finger Bakery, which is also under the same owners. Nice...
My husband and I enjoyed our food here. Didn't like where we sat only because each time the front door opened, a cold blast of air hit us, especially since not all people were considerate enough to make sure the door was closed. Despite that we had a lovely server and our water glasses were always filled.
