Highly recommended! Been coming here a few years and always an excellent meal at a very good price in a super cozy environment. They’re a very nice husband-wife team who always give great service and are wonderful about accommodating allergy / dietary restrictions. The food quality stands out and has remained consistently outstanding after all these years. We’re so happy to have this restaurant in our community!

Excellent food and excellent service. I’m amazed this place isn’t more popular than it is. It’s been right under my nose for years and little did I know this gem was here all this time. Might be one of the best restaurants I’ve ate at in Bloomfield.

We went there on Saturday night, not sure what to expect. We had to wait a little while for our menu and the wine to be poured. We ordered the crab cake appetizer, salmon from the menu and the short ribs. We were pleasantly surprised at how fabulous the appetizer and dinners turned out. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

In the same way that NYC’s best pizza title was legitimately granted to an NJ restaurant, Casserole Bistro is the best fusion food in Montclair. I honestly can’t believe that town hasn’t swamped this place yet! Plan your evening around dinner. Chef Johnny Arango nails it!

First time there, first time having risotto. Ordered the seafood risotto...OMG! Shrimp, clams, mussels and risotto, and a warm slice of a baguette; pure heaven! It was loaded with seafood and worth every penny! Nice ambiance if you decide to dine in, we ordered for pick up. The staff is warm, welcoming and professional. I felt like an old friend instead of a new customer. This was a treat I hope I can enjoy again at a future date. Pricing is moderate for a French restaurant--this is no cheap date, but again, worth every penny. Bon appetit!
