Yooo real talk this Mac and cheese is down right DISRESPECTFUL! Yall need to do better with your packaging and flavoring. Why does this taste like American cheese? Im so disappointed, and like another customer said ain’t nothing worse than wasting hard earned money. I CAN TASTE THE LACK OF CARE IN THIS FOOD!!

The food here is soooo good! I have ordered for pick up 3 times in two months, I have no complaints. It is a B.A.E (Black American establishment) which is great and how it should be pertaining to soul food. I will recommend their fried fish, short beef ribs, turkey wings, macaroni and cheese, collards, yams, etc. Try it all! Lol. Prices are extremely affordable, I was extremely surprised!! The energy and service I received every time is top notch, feels like family. I wish I had pictures to share with my experience, but unfortunately when the food hits my door my family wastes no time. Lol. This will be our go to spot for soul food for now on. They definitely deserved this review. Keep it up because we need our B.A.Es to stay flourishing, especially the food! 💙

The food here is soooo amazing came on a Sunday for lunch with my husband and daughter and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. The serving sizes are huge to expect to take a doggy bag home. I need to come back and try more on the menu. Oh did I mention the music? The icon rnb music was so nostalgic. I need to come back at night.

The food is alright. Nothing to write home about. I tried to support this establishment but numerous times I've complained about the fish proportion. The last time did it for me they gave me these little pieces of fish that was a disgrace. They should be ashamed!!! I spoke with managers several times and they were very unprofessional and did not give a damn to rectify this matter. Thumbs down across the board!!! I will never give them a dime and I hope they close down!!!!

This is a two-part review reflecting two separate dining experiences, as I really want this spot to succeed. The restaurant has so much promise but desperately needs better kitchen execution and consistency. Visit 1: Horrible Service (Date/Day of Week) I came in with my best friend. The service was unfortunately horrible. Our young gentleman server was completely inexperienced. We didn't receive our drinks until close to the end of the meal, and the appetizers I ordered were never delivered at all. Regarding the food: • I ordered the Whiting, which was very greasy. • The Mac n' Cheese was just okay. • The Potato Salad was good. • My friend's Chicken Wings were hot, but her Collard Greens and Yams were both lukewarm. My friend lightly reprimanded the server and pointed out the lack of attention, but we still tipped him because everyone has to start somewhere.

We decided to take my dad here for his 60th birthday. We arrived there around 7:10 pm and didn’t place our order until around 7:30 pm. Which is a normal timing when dining in especially for a table of 5. An hour went past and all we received were our drinks. 30 minutes later we were told that they ran out of something and the food would be out 10 mins later. Even with us growing frustrated we still decided to wait. Another 30 minutes went by and that’s when we just decided to leave. While leaving we found out that the server had lost our order slip. Our whole experience was just horrible. There was a lack of communication. We weren’t offered anything or apologized to during our wait. it was almost as if the server was avoiding us

I have been looking for a good soul food spot for YEARS! Googled and this place popped up. FANTASTIC! The mac was mackin'. The greens were delicious. Smothered turkey wings fell off the bone. The street corn starter was so good and the shrimp were fresh and huge. Will definitely return or online order in the future. Big portions as well. I couldn't even finish.
