Ordered for the first time today through Uber Eats. Had I ordered just the chicken I would have given 5 stars. The best Portuguese style chicken I’ve had in a long time. It was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The beef ribs (short ribs) were also good, just a little tough as it was sliced a bit thick and was slightly undercooked so that made it a bit chewy but had good charcoal flavor. The sweet plantains were the best I’ve had from a restaurant, perfectly caramelized....

After living in Tennessee for some 45 years, I was able to develop a keen understanding of Southern barbecue - not only that created in Tennessee, but also that from Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and even Texas. I've also been to Arthur Bryant's in Kansas City to sample 'Q' which for many years was rated as the top barbecue place in the United States.

I wouldn’t call this a bbq place nothing is actually barbecued it’s meats you would use for a bbq, no seasoning the bbq sauce tastes like ketchup and mustard the vegetables were so over cooked you wouldn’t need teeth to chew. I got the “bbq” chicken (which wasn’t bbqed it was oven roasted it seemed! And I got pork and beef ribs which again were not bbqed or seasoned. I wouldn’t call this bbq!!!beans weren’t seasoned tasted straight out of the can! What a waste...
