The neighborhood brewery I’ve always wanted: rotating batches of beers amongst some great flagships (looking at you, Pale Lager) with a soccer-centric atmosphere and a great place to gather with friends for matchdays. There’s also a ton of great food around (pizza directly across the street) and plenty of places will deliver right to you. My wife and I go often for New York Red Bulls watch parties which they often show on a large projector and the crowds have felt like you’re in the South Ward.
Weird vibe, subpar beer and selection. Bar at the corner is better.

Varitage has a variety of delicious home brewed beer and is a great spot for the community to gather. Although some taps rotate, I can always find a few that I like! They host many events to engage the community like live music, bingo, sporting event watch parties, etc. While it is on the smaller side, there is still enough seating for everyone and children are welcome during the day. There is a cheap parking garage next door and the train station is walking distance. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been to Varitage multiple times and only have positive things to say about Bloomfield’s first brewery!

We love Varitage - what a great addition to the Bloomfield scene! The beer and environment here are both outstanding, and there's something for everyone. It's also really accessible via the train, parking next door or uber. Must try the Varitage Premium Pale Lager if you like a lighter beer!

Varitage has great beer - There are a few amazing flagships and then a large rotating selection fitting a lot of different tastes. The staff is friendly and although it's a microbrewery, there is usually plenty of seating! It's also pretty convenient to park in the parking garage next door, which is very cheap.
