Sad to say I didn’t like 1st visit/experience at microbrew…… However, I must say that “Locks & Planes” IPA was crisp, cold + delicious.
Friday 4:45pm (only 3 people sitting on sofa). Joined owner (not brewer) + bartender at the bar……I don’t need to be entertained, but no conversation…..
I finished my beer and asked owner if he wanted to know if I enjoyed my beer. He said “yes”, and I told him “I liked it very much”. He asked me if I will be coming back + I told him honestly “I’m not sure”.
Again, I don’t need to be coddled, but maybe minimal 2-way chit-chat with a customer would be good for vibe + repeats.

This brewery offers a lot. Great beer, great events and amazing watch parties. Soccer centric, during matches the atmosphere gets really exciting.
Cool little spot. We stopped in while there was a Portuguese street festival going on outside and it was fun. The beer was excellent too!

The neighborhood brewery I’ve always wanted: rotating batches of beers amongst some great flagships (looking at you, Pale Lager) with a soccer-centric atmosphere and a great place to gather with friends for matchdays. There’s also a ton of great food around (pizza directly across the street) and plenty of places will deliver right to you. My wife and I go often for New York Red Bulls watch parties which they often show on a large projector and the crowds have felt like you’re in the South Ward.
