La Giraldilla Latin Cuisine

I ordered food on Grubhub for lunch and received a confirmation email. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was informed that my order had been canceled. I was told me "he didn't have the food" (I ordered 2 Cuban Sandwiches).It's fine to make a mistake (not canceling the order) but I would expect some gesture to try to make it right after driving all the way over to the restaurant, or at least a more sincere apology. Not ordering here again.

It’s really hard to find good Cuban food in bergen county and this is the only place worth it, without me having to drive to Hudson County. I drive 20 min from where I live just to get food from here, despite there being other Cuban options closer to me. The food is great, the prices are incredible, and the service is friendly. Place is also cute.

As I am sitting here eating, I had to write a review. As soon as I came in, the customer service was amazing, very easy to order, and the food was the best I’ve had in the northern NJ area in a while. Authentic flavor, definitely recommending this place to everyone I know. This is my usual spot now. Don’t think twice about coming here to eat.

I ordered catering from La Giraldilla for our conference dinner. I ordered rice, beans, ropa vieja, fricase pollo, salad, maduros, and tostones. We had plenty of food left after 80 people ate. (I may have ordered 120 people's worth of food lol)Everyone enjoyed the food! Also, the delivery was fast and on time. When I talked to the owner and his wife, they were very accommodating and made the process easy. You won't regret when you order catering from here!

I love this place but you never know when they are gonna be open. I’m standing outside of the restaurant for maybe the 3rd time now at 11am and they are closed. Unreliable hours

Amazing staff and food was delicious. Truly the best Cuban sandwich and moros I’ve ever had. The tres leches was amazing and cortado.

The food here is very good. I got the chicken stew, with some chicharonnes, empanadas, and a Cuban sandwich. I don't understand all of the excellent comments about the Cuban. That is the reason I only rated them 3 stars. There was legitimately one piece of meat and cheese on the sandwich.
