Greeting was great…. Service was great … just good energy!!! We were traveling from Georgia to Connecticut, and we decided to stop for fresh bagels 😋 😋🤤(bc my husband is from Jersey)… what a blessing of food … I ordered a poppyseed bagel, 2 eggs, and turkey bacon - my husband ordered beef pastrami on rye with lettuce tomatoes onions salt pepper oregano Swiss cheese mustard and oil & vinegar
It was so good we couldn’t even get a decent picture bc we had demolished the food 😋. And we had also received a French toast bagels (Omgoodness) 🤤

Wow! Now I know what all the fuss is about! These are some of the best bagels I have had. The store set up is not designed properly for smooth ordering, but as long as you're patient you will be rewarded!

Went there with my mom to buy bagels for a road trip snack. When I got there and asked for a plain bagel with sausage and egg, they said, “We only serve with cream cheese.” And then the person behind us asked, “Do you serve hot bagels?” Another man at the counter said, “We don’t serve hot bagels.” WHAT TYPE OF BAGEL PLACE DOESN’T HAVE HOT BAGELS? Also went I went there, the place looked almost empty and looked like it was running out of food.
Service was terrible. Called ahead of time to confirm hours of operation , they told me to come in but once we got there they slammed the door on our face and said they were closing earlier despite me calling to confirm hours. Overall horrible experience

The food quality was good and the staff were amazingly nice and friendly. The owner was very warm and at the end he gave us extra food for our way back to home. It was a pleasant experience.
Parking: The parking has a Tesla supercharger as well

My partner and I wanted to try out this bagel spot since we’ve tried many others in Boonton. We ordered two Taylor ham, egg, cheeses, and potatoes with salt and pepper. I paid $16. When we received our bagels, we found ketchup on them and brought it to the staff’s attention in hopes they would rectify the situation. The staff bickered with me saying I should’ve specifically said “no ketchup” (meanwhile all other bagel shops are competent and understand “salt and pepper” means just salt and pepper).
Unfortunately, customer service and quality does not exist here. We received our same bagels sandwiches with the ketchup wiped off and they only switched the bread. The egg was cold, cheese not melted, no salt or pepper was added. Ultimately, I can understand mistakes happen, however it was their way of responding that soured the situation. I will not be returning.

Average food with Manhattan prices.
Don't understand how ONE everything bagel W/ Cream Cheese & a tuna sandwich
With a coffee & and OJ ran me $23
Plus they messed that small order up anyway. Had to go back.
Tuna is rare in Boonton NJ.

While visiting NJ family, I dropped into this bagel shop almost everyday. The owner remembered me and my departure date! Lox and bagel was outstanding. Took home 18 very, large bagels!

For those of you who live in, near, around or find yourself passing through Boonton, NJ, please consider stopping by Boonton Bagels and Deli for some of the best bagels you will ever have. It is literally 2 minutes off I-287 (exit 45) on Myrtle Ave in a little plaza. My wife and I stopped for gas and a bite to eat on our way back from my mom's house and skipped McDonalds and Jersey Mike's to try this place. We had a couple of delicious subs we couldn't finish, so the owner, Emad, wrapped the rest up for us. My wife mentioned we were heading back to Boston and he said that he used to visit Newton to visit his sister back in the day. Then he asked us to wait and proceeded to fill a bag up with 8 bagels. He handed them to me and said he knows that we can't find a good bagel in Boston (He's absolutely right).
I couldn't wait so when we got back to the car, I took one out and took a bite. Sublime. Look up bagel in the dictionary and you get a picture of one of their bagels. It was everything a bagel should be. Firm, chewy exterior and a light, fluffy interior with a hint of sweetness. Usually, I have to toast a Boston bagel just to make it edible but with these, I think toasting would be a crime against the bagel gods. It is now a must stop both ways on our trips to MD.
