We were excited to try this place, but before we were even greeted, we overheard a customer speaking with the owner about recent political events. When we walked in, the customer turned to us and said, “Let me stop talking before I get THOSE PEOPLE riled up.” implying we were on the opposite side of their views based on how we look? Instead of shutting this down, the owner laughed along and still didn’t acknowledge us. This was extremely unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable. We left immediately without ordering. This review is based solely on the atmosphere and how new customers are treated!

Our regular deli wasn't open - we needed our Sloppy Joe's. It was amazing-from the fresh bread to perfect care in making. Don has new customers and our old deli should have stayed open later.

I grew up eating these subs and they ruined me for any other sub shop. HUGE portions, amazing bread and master proportioning of meat to cheese to toppings. I cannot recommend this place more highly. Also, the proprietors are the quintessential “mom and pop”, so sweet and hard working, love em to pieces
