Yah, it's that good. We overshot on 287 and had to turn around but was worth it. Best sandwich in Jersey? Don't know them all but this was excellent. I don't know where I would go for a better sandwich (roast beef melted Swiss on foccacia) much less at the absurdly low price. And Don and his wife are cheery, considerate, and welcoming. Boonton is off the main track but I highly recommend the stop.

A Main Street staple for 42 years. That should tell you all you need to know. Old school deli that still packs the sandwiches with meat. Great husband and wife combo that deliver fast and friendly service. Don also offers drum lessons too.

A true "mom and pop" sandwich shop! I ordered a turkey sloppy Joe and could only eat half of it! The portions are incredible. Pat and Elizabeth have the kindest demeanor and truly embody small town business with class. I have literally gone to this sandwich shop since I was little and it hasn't changed(In a great way). Pat also sells drums and teaches drum lessons! If you are looking for a great sandwich, definitely put this on your list.

The food was very good. Sloppy joes are absolutely phenomenal. Ruben was amazing. Subs were completely on par. The rye used for the sloppy joes and Reubens was soft and flavorful and not overbearing. The sub rolls were quite soft which made for a pleasant surprise. Personally I don't like rolls that are too hard or crusty that obliterate the roof of your mouth. The bread here is exceptional.Owners were so pleasant and thoughtful. Catered to my many requests because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. They make mini sandwiches here as well so it makes it easy to sample a lot. Despite living in the area for longer than the 42 years that this shop has existed in its current location, this was my first time visiting.I would strongly recommend this place. The sloppy joes are without fail the best I have had. The atmosphere is that of a little sub shop on any main Street in Jersey and is appealing in that regard. Once again, the owners and the food is the draw here and I will make this a regular stop!
